Hi all,

I’ve been looking through most of the leagues and I am seeing a lot of potentially good young rookies this season. I’ve been through every league between EBBL and Div III.5 already and found quite a few MVP/HOF (even a ATG!) rookies drafted this week, a lot of good looking SS and PA potential players.

If you have one of these players it’s likely me or js8 will be in touch at some point regarding your plans with them, but feel free to message me before that if you’re eager. I’m pretty excited about this class as if these PA potential players and up get good training we could build a very good U21 team in a few seasons time.

Few quick training tips for any new players interested:
1- a level 4 trainer is the minimum you should have if you want your player to make the u21 squad, and if you can afford it, a youth trainer for the 18 and 19 year old seasons helps!
2- Make sure your trainee gets 45mins in the position your training (ie 45mins at PG if training pressure)- 48mins if 20 or older
3- use 1 position training where possible
4- start with at least 1 season of 1v1 forwards training, especially for perimeter players. It is still good for bigs to have unless you want to focus on inside skills to train a monster big for the u21s.

If you want specific training plans for your player message me and we can discuss.

I've been and looked through every active team from EBBL-Division 3 and I've picked out 38 players that have MVP or better potential drafted this season. Add to this a number of SS and PA potential players that I've not counted and we could have a real 'Golden Generation' of rookies this year for both U21 and NT players.

Only 18 players a season get to play for the NT teams so competition is tough, but even if only half of those MVP+ players get proper training we have a lot of good players to pick from. I've just seen a 142 TSP SS potential player on the TL (very expensive as well) so even those can become elite players if trained well.

I'm very excited about this season's rookies!

If anyone wants any training advice feel free to ask me or js8 or any other manager, we have a lot of knowledgeable people in this community.

Great work mate, thanks for all of your hard work.

To all the managers of these players, I will get round to scouting them and emailing you about training plans in the next few days. Unfortunately, RL is taking up too much time at the moment so I can't get round to doing it but if you have any questions for me, drop me a mail and I'll get back to you as quick as I can.

First training week in the books, how did it go for everyone?

Slow start to my training this season but it's expected as I'm training ID for a 6'1 and 6'3 guard

me and js8 have worked through some of the new rookies and the 18 year old class looks spectacular! Including 2 60+ TSP MVP and HOF potential players!

6 pops training 1v1F.
The 19 year old who started with the team is up to 59 TSP, his skills are a bit behind for his age but it would be nice to have one homegrown player long term.

I've now got round to scouting most, if not all players that fit a criteria I've set for each age group. My next job is to get in touch with these managers about training plans and how best to utilise them for the U21 setup and Senior setup if their potential is MVP+.

If you feel your player has been missed or want some advice regarding U21, please contact me or arrowspg5 and for NT, please contact Vycka!
