Promoted from DIII: Bananahorns (21-1) CR 128

Team manager, Coach Shnuffy has been expertly guiding his franchise toward a Renaissance that is now in the making. With a surprising upset last season in their conferencde finals, the franchise was able to promote off of their phenomenal 21-1 record. This is a former NBBA league champion with B3 experience. The current roster is poised for breakout with the monstrous Elias Bailon roaming the paint and two young guns in Avarell Lively and Shawn Miles as running mates. Expect a few additions to the roster as this manager knows what it takes to compete and they should have no problem jumping back into the deep end of League II.4

Promoted from DIII: Bham Steelers (20-2) CR 69

A solid promotee, Coach T-MAC91 arrives to DII for the first time, ready to compete. This is an ascending franchise on the rise and ready to prove itself at DII. With a nice combination of youth and veterans the team hopes that their top end talent can match up well. Reigning III.15 league MVP Zhan Xiangjiang leads a solid frontline attack and at 32 he's in his prime, right now. They likely need to upgrade their bench over the course of the season, but may have some salary efficient bench players in there too.

Promoted from DIII: Work in Progress (18-4) CR 42

A warm welcome back to manager dnice who spent Season 34-43 in II.4. This team has a core of mostly twenty somethings and solid talent distrubution. The to 6 is balanced. Beyond that however is a steep drop off, and the franchise is most likely working the transfire wire seeking to round out the roster with depth. How quickly they are able to do so may determine how compettiive they'll be this season.


Relegated from NBBA: Kiwi Sheep Pimps (5-17) CR 47
At some point this season this franchise will get its 1200th win. . .yep you read that correctly. This franchise has balanced top end talent and likely can play multiple styles at the DII level. The biggest questions facing this franchise might be their training plan and their committment to this current roster. But "as-is" it can compete at DII now, and likely make a deep Cup run in doing so. Manager nuggetboy has been at the highest level and is an experienced manager.

Big 8 - Returning Teams

Conference Finalist: UK Nuggets (17-5) CR 23
Coach Holocron has a solid roster back from last season's confernce finalist. Qingyi and Hiriart are colossal down low and Franklin Jones is the straw that stirs the drink for this talented and deep roster. A pair of U21 guards anchor a solid training plan and everybody's favorite literary genius Sherwood Dickens whose prose is matched only by the Ghost of Walt Whitman, may be the best bench player in the league. Expect this franchise to compete for promotion this season.

Made the Playoffs: Milwaukee Lethargy (16-6) CR 55
This homegrown squad of genetically engineered gingers and their mad scientist manager, shikago, get maximum value from its roster. A large operation of 73 players this franchise might have the most competitive practices in DII. Expect a dogfight from this team, and don't expect to be able to scout or even tell their players apart.

Made the Playoffs: Rip City Revival (13-9) CR 62
Enigmatic manager, Jbogroff is bullish on this season's iteration of RCR with an eclectic mix of young guards, familiar posts and newly acquired aging veterans. The frachise may have too much salary coming off of the bench, and is undoubtedly too young in the tooth at guard, still they are a threat every season for the playoffs and tend to have deep Cup runs. Maris and Jackson enter their primes with help from Dedic and a stupendous acquisition in Rossano Lualdi. The franchise must hope that its young guards can develop quickly and that Abdul "Kid" Irurosqui can step us to be a capable DII starter at only 23.

Won Their Relegation: ATL The Hawks (9-13) CR 101
Manager HawksGoodKnees is a savvy veteran with a solid core 4 entering its prime. While depth may be an issue currently, it likely won't be for long as the franchise found gold in this year's draft and should be able to command a decent transfer fee to bolster their stable of finances. This franchise has over 1,000 wins and NBBA experience.

Won Their Relegation: Defenseless Babies (8-14) CR 88
Manager IBFletch (Dr? Dr? Dr, Dr) deftly navigated last season's relegation series to keep its DII dreams afloat. Now the franchse must chart its course forward with several aging contributors. The roster appears to be in turnover, though the remianing players are more than capable of competing now. Veteran Casey Stacy appears to be around for the moment. Rosa, Alfaro and Hernandez complete a formidable trio in their prime, and Korzeniak brings firepower off the bench.

Promoted from DIII: MacLeod6 (17-5) CR 75
Another welcome back to manager rob.base who spent one season in 43 and one in 45 after a rapid promotion and relegation to the NBBA. Another core of 20 somethings arrive to II.4 as MacLeod6 features 25 year old Huerta, 24 year old Caulers and 24 year old Tsintilas at G, W and F respectively. 35 year old Diop appears to on his way out as is 34 year old Escartin. And though the roster appears to be turning over two more 24 year olds in Barron and Gobber give coach rob.base a bright future and an opportunity to compete now.

Promoted from DIII: Orlando Tragic (19-3) CR 54
Coach Dwight Coward is looking to make an explosive arrival onto the scene of II.4 with a pair of six figure MVP's in their prime alongside a pair of phenomenal trainees in 24 year old hall of famer, Turland and 24 year old MVP, Prince. And why wouldn't he? This is another former NBBA franchise. Fronas and Grobstas round out a formidable top 6 and 25 year old Herrero no doubt fits into the training plan and has a role to play on the team. The drop off after this is stark however, and without additional moves the franchise will be balancing game shape and Cup success.

Relegated from the NBBA: The LA Lions (8-14) CR 15
Back sooner than expected, this former II.4 champion boasts the best ranking in the league. Manager, Harold Miner hopes his legacy in II.4 will include a brief one season stay before reascending to the NBBA where he won 8 league games a season ago. The team boasts a solid top 9 with Daughtery and Blanco still improving and practically no one on the decline. The team also found help in the draft by the way of potential transfer fee and currently lists two marquee prospects and another high potential prospect. Expect this team to add a few more pieces to the puzzle and to compete for promotion.
