D.II.1 – Season 68: Day 19 Recap (June 10, 2025)
by Buzzer-Manager

Flying Ostriches Torch southpaw, Mikos Drops 44, and Draganov Delivers a 20-Assist Masterpiece
If Day 18 was a playoff warning shot, Day 19 was a full-on barrage. Flying Ostriches put on a clinic, TAR HEELS #1’s Mikos set the nets on fire, and V. Draganov carved his name into the assist gods’ scrolls. Meanwhile, Kings Knights slowed the Idiots, and Wavy Gates looked every bit the defending champs again.

Ostriches Obliterate southpaw in Record Night
Flying Ostriches incinerated southpaw army 134–37 in what can only be described as merciless basketball. They led in every category: points, rebounds (70!), assists (39), steals (13), and blocks (10). V. Draganov authored the stat line of the season: 38–8–20, earning MVP honors with a 59 efficiency. This was historic. Southpaw army, on the other hand? Just historically bad.

Mikos’ 44 Pushes TAR HEELS Past SomeTeam
No drama—just dominance. P. Mikos exploded for 44 points as the Heels cruised to an 89–71 win. He drained 6 threes and needed only 27 shots. While SomeTeam showed flashes, Mikos made sure they never got close.

Irregulars Survive the Hooligans in Wild Finish
Baker Street outlasted the surging Hooligans 111–105 in a game that could’ve gone either way. H. Sotelo was a monster inside with 29–25–5 and 5 blocks, logging 48 ironman minutes. This one had playoff vibes—and the Irregulars passed the test.

Wavy Gates Blow Away Harbor City Storm
The champs looked the part again, walloping Harbor City 100–60. Every quarter was a mismatch. Martone and company dominated defensively, while the offense found its rhythm without overextending. Back-to-back big wins = a real resurgence?

Smallfries Stay Hot, Handle Wasted Potential
Smallfries kept their machine running, beating WP 94–80 behind another strong N. Neside showing (28–9–3 with 2 steals). Wasted Potential hung around early but faded down the stretch. The Friez are humming into playoff form.

Kings Knights Cool the Idiots with Balanced Win
No headline-grabbing individual stat lines—just cold, calculated execution. Kings Knights beat Village Idiots 102–85 by limiting their pace and exploiting mismatches. It wasn’t sexy, but it was sharp. And the Knights are quietly stacking résumé wins.

Blue Ocean Torpedo the Mambas
After a disappointing loss last round, Blue Ocean rebounded by obliterating the Mambas 129–86. O. Espí was outstanding: 28–20–4 with 2 blocks, earning Top PF honors. This one was over before halftime.

Mildcats Dominate Big Forest Again
Corntucky continued their rise with a 101–82 win over Big Forest. T. McDermott (6 threes) stretched the floor, while the defense racked up 13 steals. V. Fraser did his usual damage in the paint, and Big Forest never found a rhythm.

Key Takeaways
• Flying Ostriches may have just dropped the performance of the season.
• Mikos is a walking bucket—44 points, effortless.
• Sotelo is the anchor the Irregulars need come crunch time.
• Kings Knights are winning without needing fireworks.
• Smallfries are officially playoff-proof.
• southpaw is in absolute freefall—another sub-40 game.
• Blue Ocean isn’t done yet.
• The bottom tier keeps getting steamrolled.

The Ugly
• H. Hanning and the entire southpaw army—season-worst showing
• Village Idiots and Mambas both fading fast when it matters most

Final Word:
The playoff elite are clicking—Smallfries, TAR HEELS, Ostriches, Knights, Mildcats. Meanwhile, southpaw and Mambas have turned into league punchlines.

Three game days remain. And with each blowout, buzzer-beater, and bounce-back, the postseason picture gets clearer… and crueler.

D.II.1 – Season 68: Day 20 Recap (Saturday, June 14, 2025)
by Buzzer-Manager

Smallfries Edge Ostriches in Thriller, Nguyen Goes Nuclear, and southpaw Hits New Low
Day 20 delivered fireworks, meltdowns, and MVP moments as the playoff picture tightened. Smallfries squeaked past the Ostriches in a one-point classic, while SomeTeam’s T. Nguyên erupted for 39 in a must-win. Meanwhile, southpaw army… might need to unplug and reboot.

Game of the Night: Smallfries Outlast Flying Ostriches 109–108
In a game worthy of postseason billing, Smallfries barely survived a late Ostriches surge. N. Neside was outstanding again with 37 points and 11 assists, plus 4 blocks. R. Młudzik nearly stole the show for the Ostriches (22–13–8), but a final possession fumble left them just short. These two could see each other again in the playoffs—and no one would complain.

Nguyên’s 39 Ignites SomeTeam Rout
SomeTeam dismantled Big Forest 94–68 behind T. Nguyên’s career night. He dropped 39 points with 5 threes and was unguardable from tip-off. After struggling most of the season, SomeTeam finally looked like a squad no one wants to face in the final stretch.

Wavy Gates Win Shootout with Hooligans
Wavy Gates kept their momentum rolling in a 128–113 shootout against the Hooligans. D. El had 12 assists, and the Gates offense simply overwhelmed Hemet. Don’t look now, but the defending champs have strung together three straight explosive wins.

TAR HEELS Lock In, Defeat Corntucky Mildcats
It was a tight contest until the fourth, where the Heels pulled away for a 98–84 victory. I. Benslimane bullied the glass with 21 rebounds, and P. Mikos provided his usual scoring punch. Corntucky struggled to keep up with the physicality and tempo.

Kings Knights Humiliate Mambas in Blowout
The Knights were ruthless in a 114–36 destruction of The White Mambas, who now look like the most hopeless squad in the division. Kings Knights continue to win by margin, stacking up statement victories as the season winds down.

Wasted Potential Vaporizes southpaw in Total Collapse
If last round’s beating was brutal, this was barbaric: 117–25. Yes, 25. Wasted Potential controlled everything—pace, glass, paint, perimeter. D. Choate flirted with a triple-double, and J. Case brought two-way fire. southpaw has now failed to crack 40 in three straight games.

Village Idiots Snap Back, Crush Blue Ocean
Village Idiots silenced doubters after their recent struggles by pounding Blue Ocean 114–78. L. Portobello played 48 minutes of high-energy basketball and led a defensive effort that completely disrupted Blue’s rhythm.

Irregulars Keep Rolling, Down Harbor City Storm
Baker Street Irregulars continued their playoff charge with a solid 103–84 win over Harbor City. T. Gibbs logged all 48 minutes and kept the ball moving, while H. Sotelo cleaned the glass and controlled the paint. Quietly, this team is trending upward.

Key Takeaways
• Smallfries-Flying Ostriches may be this league’s best rivalry.
• Nguyên just carried SomeTeam into the playoff conversation.
• Kings Knights and Wavy Gates both look postseason-ready.
• TAR HEELS keep proving they’re more than just Mikos.
• southpaw army is in franchise freefall—possibly unwatchable.
• Blue Ocean’s inconsistency may cost them everything.
• Wasted Potential looked… playoff elite.

The Ugly
• M. Moore (southpaw army) led a disastrous stat line: just 2 points and -13 efficiency.
• The White Mambas might’ve set the tone for the worst two-week stretch in the league.
• Big Forest? More like “lost in the forest.”

Final Word:
The top contenders are sharpening their blades, while the bottom continues to crumble under pressure. With two days left in the regular season, the playoff fire is burning—and it’s starting to consume the pretenders.

D.II.1 – Season 68: Day 21 Recap (Tuesday, June 17, 2025)
by Buzzer-Manager

Smallfries Win a Shootout, Kings Knights Go Nuclear, and southpaw army Hits Rock Bottom (Again)
With playoff races tightening, Day 21 was explosive. Smallfries and Village Idiots delivered fireworks, while Kings Knights dropped 140. Meanwhile, southpaw army’s collapse somehow got even worse.

Smallfries Outgun Village Idiots in Instant Classic, 129–118
This was a game loaded with pace, scoring, and hustle. C. Calderón (20–9–5 steals) was everywhere, and G. Bandeira poured in 34 points and 11 rebounds. Despite a strong 29–20 effort from E. Irwin, the Idiots fell just short in a game that could shift seeding.

Flying Ostriches Hold Off Blue Ocean, Stay Alive
L. Yanzhao was sensational with 36 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals as the Ostriches fended off Blue Ocean 106–100. It was a must-win for both, and Ostriches executed better down the stretch. Blue Ocean now sits on the brink of elimination.

Wasted Potential Cruise Past Mambas
It wasn’t pretty, but it didn’t need to be. Wasted Potential took care of business with an 85–67 win over The White Mambas, who continued to struggle offensively. G. Paciente logged all 48 minutes in a solid two-way performance.

Kings Knights Drop 140, southpaw Drops 33 (Yes, 33)
This might be the biggest point differential of the season. Kings Knights were surgical and suffocating. G. Short helped lead a dominant team effort on both ends. Meanwhile, southpaw army’s offensive dysfunction somehow worsens with every game.

Big Forest Upsets Baker Street Irregulars
A surprise result, as Big Forest played one of their most complete games all season to beat Baker Street 108–92. T. Shi Wan had a block party with 6 rejections, and the Irregulars looked out of sync in all four quarters.

SomeTeam Continues Surge with Statement Win Over Harbor City
This team is catching fire at the right time. SomeTeam routed Harbor City 112–90 behind a brilliant playmaking display from M. Ramasodi (14 assists). Everyone chipped in, and they now look like a serious playoff sleeper.

Wavy Gates Keep Rolling, Beat Mildcats Comfortably
Wavy Gates methodically pulled away from Corntucky in a 90–70 win. I. Marcos was a defensive wall with 19 rebounds, 4 steals, and 4 blocks. This is not the same team from early season—Wavy has turned the corner.

TAR HEELS #1 Grind Out Win vs. Hooligans
TAR HEELS maintained their solid form with a gritty 91–69 victory. Nothing flashy, just tough defense, rebounding, and tempo control. Hooligans tried to hang in but were overwhelmed by consistent pressure and smart execution.

Key Takeaways
• Smallfries’ depth and hustle are real weapons in big games.
• Kings Knights are terrifying. Period.
• Flying Ostriches saved their season—for now.
• Blue Ocean and southpaw army are sliding at the worst possible time.
• Wavy Gates, TAR HEELS, and SomeTeam are peaking late.
• Village Idiots are still dangerous—but need to clean up defense.
• Big Forest might just play spoiler in the final round.

The Ugly
• H. Hanning (southpaw army): 0 points, 1 rebound, -12 efficiency.
• southpaw army as a unit: 33 total points. That’s not a typo.
• Turnover-prone performances from T. Ococoi, B. Dooley, and Z. Kincaid.
• Baker Street Irregulars’ playoff momentum? Possibly derailed.

Final Word:
Day 21 shook the standings. With one round left, seeding battles, late-season surges, and collapses are reaching their peak. Expect chaos next game day—everyone’s season hangs in the balance.

D.II.1 – Season 68: Day 22 Recap (Saturday, June 21, 2025)
by Buzzer-Manager

Regular Season Finale: Flying Ostriches Outlast Village Idiots, Wasted Potential Stuns Kings, Blue Ocean Makes a Statement
The curtain closed on Season 68’s regular season with chaos, upsets, and a few late-stage power moves that may reshape the playoff picture. Flying Ostriches and Village Idiots delivered a barnburner, Kings Knights stumbled on the road, and Blue Ocean punctuated their dark-horse claim by stunning the league-leading Smallfries.

The table is set. The madness begins now.

Flying Ostriches Soar in Instant Classic
A 140–136 thriller between the Ostriches and Idiots gave fans one last electric showdown before the postseason. High tempo, big shots, and no defense in sight. With momentum firmly in their favor, the Ostriches are looking like a team no one wants to face in a best-of series.

Wasted Potential Hands Kings a Rare Defeat
The Kings Knights were a basket away from closing the season strong, but Wasted Potential had other plans—grinding out an 83–81 home win in a physical, playoff-style preview. D. Choate swatted nine shots in a monster performance, and WP proved they’re more than just a middle seed—they’re a real threat.

Smallfries Fall to Hungry Blue Ocean
Smallfries entered the night as the league’s highest-scoring juggernaut, but Blue Ocean cooled them off with a 122–109 upset. Calhoun’s all-around brilliance and Silva’s dominance on the boards sent a warning shot to higher seeds: Blue Ocean is peaking at the right time.

Storm Outgun Forest, Mildcats Hold Off Hooligans
Harbor City Storm dropped 135 in a shootout against Big Forest, while Corntucky Mildcats did just enough to push past Hemet Hooligans 105–99. Both winning teams head into the postseason riding late-season confidence.

TAR HEELS Tune Up, Mambas Maul southpaw
TAR HEELS #1 wrapped up the season with a business-like win over Wavy Gates, who limp into the postseason with three straight losses. Meanwhile, The White Mambas dished a staggering 45 assists in a blowout of the southpaw army, who exit the season with more bruises than highlights.

Irregulars Survive Slopfest with SomeTeam
It wasn’t pretty, but it was just enough—Baker Street Irregulars eked out a 71–69 win over SomeTeam. With offensive struggles still plaguing them, the Irregulars may need to rely on grit and experience to go deep.

Key Takeaways:
• The Flying Ostriches are scary hot at just the right time.
• Wasted Potential might be the most dangerous team without a top seed.
• Kings Knights finally looked mortal—and vulnerable.
• Blue Ocean is officially the playoff dark horse.
• Smallfries need a reset button before the quarterfinals.
