For the same reason Gregg Popovich has been fined in the past when resting his players during a regular season game which was on TV, it kills the entertainment of one of the biggest game of the season in BB.

It is a way to show your opinion and maybe that is a good opinion and enthusiasm should be changed for the B3, but changing rules because of a walk-over during the B3 finals and no sanction would set quite a precedent.

Sorry but I don't get it.
Why should he be penalized for that? I forgot to set a lineup during the first game of my playout, it's my team to be penalized by losing (I didn't do a WO since I had the default lineup). And as far as I know, this is an individual game, I've my own team and I can decide wether to win or lose. Even on porpouse. And nothing in the rules forbid to walk over, isn't it?
If you do WO you will automatically lose 0-50 and normal. Nothing more.
So if the penalty is related to the BB prediction ok, he already knew the results and he get an unfair bonus in the prediciton game. But for the rest, the global code of conduct doesn't say something about WOs.

But he did not forgot to set his lineup. He did it to show a point that had been discussed several times in the past. He was not penalizing his team or at least he thought he had more to win than to lose with that decision, even if that to represent an idea and not a direct gain. Mloty already won the B3, he succeded at BB. It seems he can afford to throw a game in exchange of a tribune and it works since pretty much nobody is congratulating Versis for his win and season and everyone is talking about the walkover and the why behind.

Don't get me wrong, I don't want to be rude with this reply. But maybe everyone are going behind darko because he's right? Or at least he has a good point, right or not still up in air?

By the way, he still didn't violate any rule and I think it's hard to justify a fine for what you call ruining the hype on a mostly followed BB match. "Kills the entertainment", you said, and quite frankly, I think no one should be forced to be an entertainer in this game. If you want, cool, if you don't want, your choice.

We had one of our best 18yo prospect last season who went to a user that has no desire to train him (dunno if he acquired him only for "destroying" one of our top potential young players, I hope not): for our community it was a big blow, since SF are always hard to grow. But that doesn't violate any rule, even if we all hated him! And surely he kills our entertainment (i know it's different from the WO, but about the entertainment topic I think everything goes, it can be killing young prospect, giving up matches in the end of the season ruining the playout/off run for the others and so on). Quite everything can be unfair on porpouse.

My two cents, though. So whatever

And obviously congratz to the winner, who has no faults in all of these and deserve to claim the gold.

After putting some thought into it, I decided I don't generally support rioting. In basketball world, reminds me of LeBron getting Blatt fired, or Cousins trying to get Karl fired. Nasty stuff, I totally lost my respect towards LeBron, Cousins.

Mloty is certainly one of the more successful managers in the game, but I don't think one manager should force a campaign to change the game rules. Maybe the B3 enthusiasm does need a change, but I don't appreciate people starting a rebellion, and other people jumping the bandwagon immediately, threatening to do the same in the future.

Just opened bb BB and didn't understand what was that. By not playing one of the most important matches in season, you simply disrespect all community. Yes, I agree that there's always a lot of room for improvements and game developers should improve this game much more than they do now. At the time I'm writing this message, an interesting feeling came to me. Maybe it was right. Maybe you made right move to get attention everyone wanted.

Seriously Perpete, you GMs and the devs should be ashamed of yourselves.

I freely admit, I'm partially to blame. I didn't write any code that could fix this. Neither did Perpete, neither did any of us. I just wish that the thousands of people participating in the Utopia random scrimmage friendly prediction contest didn't have to suffer the fallout as well as you.
