I think it's ideal to have any games that you expect to be less competitive (either sure win or highly likely loss) on the road,

That's what I've always thought too. But never really analyzed it or anything.

So I have learned that the only thing more useless than a level 5 doctor (the guy I had who saw Schultz and Thayer get injured this week) is a level 6 doctor (who's already gotten Wray injured in the first half of the first quarter tonight).


Edit: Oh, and the scrub that came in for Wray also injured in the first quarter.

This season is going to blow.

Just to save you the aggravation: never had worse luck than with a level 7 doctor with taping injuries specialty. Not exaggerating.

This season is going to blow.

Well on the bright side, you got to play vs MM before they got their new $160k PF! (I think i've got to play them in a rivalry game soon...)

Good news is it doesn't look like I lose anyone permanently tonight. I do have one fan that needs an ass kicking, though. Every seat but one sold out tonight, so clearly someone didn't think the Paula Cole halftime show was worth it.

After adding another $90k player, MM now has their starters averaging over $100k. How do you feel about that, dog? You probably wish you were in the Great 8... where only 2 teams have a payroll over $375k! (oh & remember last season when some new team complained about ending up in the Great 8?)

And after adding your $85k Center... you're spending almost as much as the Clogs. But why? You're up to no good, aren't you?

When you put it that way, it sounds unsustainable!

Seriously though, it's a little bit of an exaggeration - maybe average $90K? Anyway, my team is not really very good, but I have some money, don't really need to build out my arena anymore, get good merchandise revenue, don't have viable trainees anymore - so I think it would be fun to field a team that can utilize most offenses so that I won't be predictable.

I'll probably sell off someone later in the season also.

I appreciate the correction on the Buzzer-Manager game review. I certainly overlooked that erroneous report.

As far as my new (old) $85K Center, I had to do something to increase my competitiveness around the basket. I'll surely move some players off my roster at some point this season, as I have too many players and they are already fighting over minutes.
