The Great 8 put a whooping on us today! Everyone but Dong won... including losses by the Mambas, myself, and Anchorage...

Dude, GOAT! lol
Not the best Cup round for the Great 8. 6 go in, 3 come out. Big 8 did a nice 4 for 4.

Bad management job by me. Should have done everything to ensure the win instead of trying to be cute and playing only my worst 5

Wow, my 6th man made the all star team as a reserve. Either I am using him incorrectly or I don't understand how the voting works, possibly both.

My son's team who is D3 had his backup SF make the starting lineup for the allstar team and the starter on his team named as the backup. My only guess is that it was because his back up was an American and the starter wasnt.

Huh, my guy is Brazilian so that shouldn't be the case. Too weird.

5 TEAMS, 1 CUPDATE

Herd got a thinned out a bit and it looks like we could lose some more on Thursday. The matchups:

Kinickerbockers host the DI Pennsylvania Quakers. Tough draw and I expect the Quakers "pray" on the DII underdog.

Hayward Lumberjacks play host to one of my old DIII rivals, fewmit's Old Yet Sexy Hippies. Should be a good matchup, with a strong Hayward squad cutting down the dope smokers.

Fosse Designs get the toughest draw, having to face the perennial powerhouse, Burlington Mountain Goats. Wozz's Goats will ram the ball inside and likely win this one going away.

Myopic Marauders play host to the freak show that is USA Elite and their low salaried overperformers. I like the Marauders to overrun the USA in a close game.

Finally, my Cross Chargers probably got the best draw, facing DIII Snakebite & Black. Barring injuries or a CT, the Chargers should have the antidote and advance to round of 32.

Good luck to everyone!

Hui was injured less than a minute into my game and Doneus picked up a 1 week injury.
Level 4 doctor.
The BB gods just hate me. haha. Such a weird season.
Could be that Hui is cursed. All this started after I signed him.

Huge win by the Clerics on the road vs. Fosse to set up a key showdown with G.O.A.T. on Saturday, while Roxas City defended their home court holding off a tough Hayward team.

Looks like the Marauders have first place in the Great 8 pretty much nailed down being 3 games up with 7 to play. Black Mambas look to be in good shape too in the Big 8. The rest of us are pretty tightly bunched and unfortunately looks like a couple good teams are going to be relegated to DIII.

Myopic Marauders has just acquired Giuseppe Evangelisti for $ 1 530 000.

Well, it looks like someone gone and went serious about promoting.
