Well, one and done in D.II, I'll be honest I was not expecting this. I fully planned to have a less than playoff caliber season because I needed to build up my arena and wanted to make a run in the tourney. I fully expected that 8 wins would get me at least a shot at a relegation match, but nope.

Best of lucky everyone.

That really was tough luck in the end. You drew the short straw being promoted into the Big 8, which has a vastly stronger lower-half.

Good luck next season - I'm sure your team is strong enough to come straight back up.

Good game to the Warriors. Winning two straight playoff games on the road is very impressive. Good luck in the finals.

Disappointed in my team, however. I really thought this was the year. Having HCA and going 12-0 at home before this game really game me confidence. Guess it's back to the drawing board for me.

I have never seen such a split up MVP vote like this. Wow.

I rarely see third placed team gets MVP.

Check the recent history of the league - the last time a team higher than 3rd place had the MVP was when you won the league in S29.

I'm a little surprised at how far down Vereker fell, given that statistically he is probably the best player in the league. I thought the 10-12 record and 5th place finish by Big Head Todd & the Monsters likely would keep him from a fifth straight crown, but I still thought he'd be in the top 3. By far the most divided MVP voting I can recall.

If his team found a way to make the playoffs I'm pretty sure Vereker would've won another MVP.
