Ahhh an unexpected move from Mango Tango...PTB is something that you shouldn't use against team with balanced defense (inside and outside) unless you are confident you can create mismatches.

PTB is the best offense to run against balanced defenses because there are no obvious weaknesses for you to exploit, so you allow the GE to figure that out...

That's what I thought. But in the end I was outmatched in all positions. I need a SG who can score.

does that mean if i use ptb arc will always get the ball and i only need to use that no matter where he plays

So you are saying ptb is like putting your faith in the GE to work out the exploit for you? I've seen coach do "wonderful" things during games, I am sure putting faith in the GE is about the same result lol.

Your small sample size shows nothing.

The point of PTB is, if you have a balanced inside and outside offense and the defense you are coming up against is solid both inside and out, the basis of PTB is not to have an inside or heavily outside based offense, and the game engine will explore post options and the perimeter.

Not forgetting the offensive flow for all those teams being pretty bad.

Bad offensive flow doesn't help your team find good looks, so a focused offense would be fine.

Those games could have plenty of variables outside of the control of the game engine, like effort and enthusiasm.

I repeat. If your team is balanced, there's no reason why you wouldn't go for the best possible option available to you, which is to make use of both your guards and bigs. Especially if the opponent is very well rounded in both inside and outside defense.

And Matt, no. Arcuato will get the ball, see the SG he's up against and decide if he should pass, shoot or whatever he wants to do.

He'll get smashed in II at SG though.
