The Big Fish keeps his top spot and his hands are well and truly poised above the inaugural Urmummus a Breeder Trophy (works on a few levels). Despite his first loss for the season, Bainsy clings to 2nd despite the fast improving Bogans. With many teams still in the Cup (report on its way) there was plenty of movement once again this week.

As you may have noticed I have added the position of each team in their respective Big 8 or Great 8 side of their league. Amazingly, 14 of the 20 New Breeders (70%) are looking like they might play finals. Almost half of the 20 teams (9) are 1st or 2nd! Of course, we are only 7 games in, but that is some great results at this stage and once again reinforces the quality of teams moving up from Div III to Div II.

anyway i have been crunching some numbers, mainly cause i am sick of ezlife and skyhook's barrage about how weak II.1 Great 8 conference is, so i had to find a way to disprove them. So just some stats on each conference.

I think this shows that overall II.1 Great 8 has a decent amount of depth and is in fact alot more difficult than people give it credit for. II.2 Big 8 seems the hardest conference overall with II.3 Big 8 and II.4 Big 8 also up their in difficulty.

II.1 B8 is still better then G8 despite G8 improviving massively this season.

Adam Guns has got this by a mile.

II.1 have massive salariers only because no ABBL team droped down, and we got yourself, hookz, and Holtz come up. Also, teams have bought a few players knowing that this is their best chance at ABBL. Adams guns is making everyone else know that he is unbeatable by buying a couple of NTs to add to Neal. Little does he know, he peaked way too soon, and someone else may come in and do something really drastic come end of season. BTW, not saying that I'm that person. Just saying that some team have been saving for a few seasons and may or may not splash out this season. It really depends on what their intentions are as every manager is different.

So basically. it seems legit for me to say that all the other d2 suck as I'm a part of 2.2 big 8? :p
