it's different to what Vios is trying to point out. There're some teams that save their roster for the cup and sacrifice league games.


Yeah that's what i'm getting at. Teams with no genuine chance of winning the Cup, that sacrifice their league games to progress are just setting themself up for disappointment. I understand it's a good opportunity to raise enthusiasm (that's all it is to me now) and also can be a good source of extra cash (saved me when I relegated). I'm more saying teams need to realise that when push comes to shove, it will be one of the ABBL teams that wins it and there is no glory in coming 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 16th....

Oh don't get me wrong, I've no ambition of winning the cup, the increased income really helps so that's why I've played my best players against teams my squad has a chance of winning against.

I've learnt that you really need a 10 player rotation in this game, anything less makes it quite difficult to keep gameshape in check.

The good thing about staying in the cup so long is my team has almost enough dosh saved to make another big acquisition and perhaps make a run for the playoffs come next season. So it's not all bad.

Why wouldn't you want to stay in the cup. Realistically there are probably 3-4 teams that could win the league this season only. I'm not one of them so I'll put everything into the cup, make sure my main guys get trained, and hopefully get a good draftee. Good season for me.

I've probably set my team back a season or two by selling by C in favour of training up some more rounded big men. My tip would probably be a Popenpop vs. TVA final with maybe TVA pinching it.

Hard luck Warriors especially when your main player went down at the end of the 3rd quarter.

Had my starting SF only play 6 minutes before getting sitting out the rest of the game injured too. Stupid doctor isn't doing his job.
