Do you have some hard data to show that a 15000-5000-500-50 arena is better than e.g. 12000-8000-500-50?
I'd be interested to see some calculations on return on invested capital over time for different scenarios.

If you go for 10k-10k then your return on invested capital is not as good as with 17k-4k for some time because you need to invest more (and the money cant be spent on players to make you win more, promote, get more money from a higher league etc.).

In the long run however, 10k-10k might be better but the question is...are you going to stay with BB that long...
Thus, there is an optimum somewhere for a given time you will play BB that does not gimp you financially but still generates a good income. The longer you stay, the more this shifts to less bleachers, which is not fortunate because thats usually the first thing you need to build to quickly increase your income with limited resources.

There seems to be some sort of attendance distribution over the different seats that you can only shift towards galery if you make them cheaper. To evenly fill a 10k-10k arena you will have to set prices for bleacers near max and galery near lowest.
Thats just a guess, but i think per earnable dollar its only the same for bleacher heavy arenas.

Almost 9 million dollars wasted money with his current visitors count.

I agree that there is hardly a better place to live out quirky kinks than a computer game (the Filipino SF team is a funny one).

The point however is: Yes it is possible to sink 9 million BB dollars into your arena without any economical benefit (which in my opinion counts as "too big")
