Bottom line is: a DIV IV coach is still better than no coach at all. Swag out y'all!

If at first you don't succeed, apply to run the Elbonia U21 team!

Actually, it is the U21 puerto rico national team. The voting went to GMLull but the National team went to the second place guy Warpack. I was the one left in the voting. The current U21 coach was not even in the voting, he was last season. His last post for the team was in 2012. I don't know if he is active anymore, but how did he get the team?

Me going down to league V was actually my choice. I was rebuilding the team and they were not good enough to stay. That is the first time I was in V since season 8. All that time I was in Div 4. If you looked at my record, I was in either the playoffs or the finals 90% of the time. I just didn't have enough talent to move to 3.

Too much rebuilding though... every player on your team is 21 or under except for one. That is not a good way to rebuild. Honestly you are just wasting a lot of young players potential. I don't think you quite understand how to manage a solid team yet, which may be why you couldn't get out of D.IV.

I agree, but the guy coaching the U21 team right now was never in the voting this year. He won the voting last year and is currently the coach this year.

That's because elections are for two seasons. This season was National team; next season will be U21 team.

Not really, remember I am in Div. V right now. My teams were never young players until last year when I knew I had to rebuild. What I am doing is developing a core group of players so when I do go to div. 4, I can build around them. Young players with great potential is better than players with limited potential. If I don't understand how to manage a solid team, then my overall record should be really bad. Basically, it is managing money to buy players for the playoff run. Since div. 4 only allow you certain amount of money to work with, you are limited to high priced players. One player could be the difference between winning and losing a promotion. If a team comes to your division after being relegated from div 3, that limits your options too. National teams you don't have to worry about how much money you use, just finding the best players who can work through the type of system you are running. That I do understand.
