I posted this in my league forum but there are even more great minds here. This question is about the relegation series between Kuzu and the Kings and if it will create a bot promotion.

Kuzu High School Last Seen: 8/31/2011
Kanazawa Kings Last Seen: 9/13/2011

These two play each other in a relegation series. Both will be bots soon and if the winner of the series is a bot it will create another promotion which would go to the Fighters if they didn't win our league, or if they won to aisteru.4ever.

I think Kuzu will go bot on Monday (bot dates 29/8 to the 4/9). Then sadly the Kings will last two more weeks until the end of the season so it will depend on the ordering of the processing. They may be a bot before the promotions and relegations are done, or they may not be.It will be a matter of hours but it would be good news for someone from our division.

Does anyone know the order of end of season processing?

I assume there will be one bot promotion as there are no humand in II.4 so the winner of that league will be promoted normally then removed in both cleanup. But the lucky winner of that bot promotion will most likely be Miyazaki Freeters from II.2.

Which is a complete and utter joke too.
It's pretty depressing...

The way I see it there will be 6 spots available in JBBL

8th Seeds:
1) FUJINAMI CAGERS (Will BOT on 10/31)
2) 血受儿

Relagation Match Losers:
3) BBstAr Vs. Isehara Pistons
4) Kanazawa Kings (will BOT on 10/31) vs Kuzu High School (BOT)

BOT Sweep
5) Winner of Kanazawa Kings (will BOT on 10/31) vs Kuzu High School (BOT)
6) ☜❽1リットルの涙❽- (will BOT on 10/24)

The year end process will run financial update, which includes Botting, before year end processing activities.

Still doesn't address the massive problems in Div II. Small Town and Miyazaki will promote. Umi Says will promote.
If Small Town were in the Great 8 of II.1, it would be a struggle for him to even make the playoffs... and if he did - highly unlikely he makes the Final. Yet he will promote. Miyazaki and Umi Says wouldn't make top 5 in the Great 8 of II.1. Not even close. Yet they will promote.

It's unfortunate, and one of the difficulties of playing in a small nation - the talent pool in Div II whilst thin, all seems to be crammed into not only II.1, but into the Great 8 of II.1. The top 4 teams in all of Div II in Nippon are all in the Great 8 of II.1 - and Terry Bogard would go close to being top 5. Three of those teams (Sapporo, Shikoku & my NKRK) are ranked in the top 16 of the country anyway, and what's now probably the best team in Div II (Kyoto Shogun) is just outside the top 16 (guy just more than doubled his weekly salaries). Terry Bogard who came fifth in our conference would probably win any other Div II in Japan. Then in the Big 8, you have aisteru.4ever, 楽しい and baikinman - all of whom are around the same level as Terry Bogard.
It all needs a reset.

Maybe a good solution would be to have the DII leagues scrambled to spread the teams out. That probably would make the competion less fun but it would get the best teams up more quickly.

Any chance BB would agree to doing that? I'm sure we're not the only country struggling with this.

Has anyone responded to any of our questions or requests on this matter?

Yes.

I reported our situation to two BBs. One basically stated a reason that "it's nice to have a competitive league" - which basically means "tough luck on that". The other told me he'd look into it... and there should be a follow up on that soon. I also suggested we would be helped by having a GM in Japan (if asked who, gonna suggest YOU Taiyo!!!).

Hold a sec... you're making errors in who-plays-who Wolph.

FUJINAMI CAGERS and 血受儿 will automatically demote.
One of BBstAr or Isehara Pistons will demote - as they play each other. Kanazawa Kings play Kuzu High School, and Kings are on the way to going bot, Kuzu already is. 1liter will go bot too.

That's:
- FUJINAMI CAGERS
- 血受儿
- BBstAr/Isehara Pistons
- Kanazawa Kings
- Kuzu High School
- ☜❽1リットルの涙❽-

Will demote. Whoever wins from BBstAr/Isehara Pistons doesn't. Depending on how accurate Taiyo's call on when they bot is, then there will be 6 slots just as Taiyo said.

Yup - 7 B8 vs 6 G8 and vice versa.
It's right there on your league page: (http://www.buzzerbeater.com/league/1962/overview.aspx)...
