Day one: surprisingly - season is starting the same day and first game is in 2 hours!
1. Of course I put crunch time attitude to start the season in fashion - loosing the first game and valuable enthusiasm. I selected team for game1 ranked by DMI.
2. After the game I start selling the most expensive players to save the money not knowing they are the most valuable.
3. I started bidding the players attracted by DMI which was affordable with my budget (DMI in the range 5000-10000?!) which was totally irrelevant.
4. After few hours and messing up my team I started to read the manual!
5. First season I split my training in three parts: outside, inside and SF - nobody of course built the carrier.

Now I am in division2 and I still have one player from my first season as lucky charm...

I think my biggest mistake (or maybe misunderstanding) is that I (quietly) thought I was smarter than everyone else when I figured out that I could train by position (PG in this case), and proceeded to buy literally 30 point guards thinking that all 30 would get trained and then I could sell them at a great profit. Now I just have a stupidly long transfer list from buying and subsequently trying to sell all of those not-so-talented point guards.

I'm on track to buy about 70 players this season for $1000 each. None of them are going to get paid :)

Why is it that every time that I look at your roster, your whole team is for sale?

And btw your transfer history is redicilus.

I like to keep them up for sale because I figure there are thousands of users on this site and I only ever need one to want to buy one of my players, and then I can upgrade that position.

haha I love my transfer history :D

He is Australia's most notorious day trader...and we love him.

I wish I knew how to train. I wish I knew about the effect of height and age (spent 2 seasons training a 6'9" 23 year old SG with $5,000 salary). I wish I knew a bit more about potential, Hall of Fame is useless but All Star is a little tight. I wish I had kept and trained at least one more of my starting players or early draft picks.

I wish I knew not to overspend on a whim on bad players that foul out and get injured all the time even if they do have amazing stats.

Me too I wish I knew this game when it first came out, and by the way I cheated with tranfering money before, got banned 24 hours later, then wow, buzzerbeater staff is working, unlike others game which didn't even care when you suddenly get maximum money in 2 minutes, then you know, I make this account, experiencing terrible lag because of being monitor for a month, then another wow! I love buzzerbeater ^^v
