There's a decent number of young Canadian prospects available (by Canada's standards). Not really the point of the thread, but NT potential/NT depth potential... it's all good.

edit: 3-4 with legit NT potential in the distant future to be sold in the next 12 hours, but it's probably dry from there.

Frustrating. I was going after Gaudreault, but the price was just too steep, the other guy kept matching every bid. Final price was 3.35 million. I'm hopeful Hall will get more tomorrow, although it would be best to see him stay in Canada so I hope Stajan wins.

Oh. My. God.

This same freaking Polish guy who overpaid for Gaudreault is, in my opinion, overpaying for Hall. He has 3 18 y/o HOF trainees, a 23 y/o Canadian HOF SF, and he's going for a 23 y/o Canadian ATG. I'm going to try to salvage Hall. For Canada! No fucking way I'm going over $4m... last bid right here I think.

Well, spent about a full million more than I was truly comfortably spending on him, but the Polish dude really infuriated me. He already had 4 extremely high quality trainees that required 1 position training and I didn't want him to waste away Geadreault and Hall... they're probably the best Canadian prospects out there. Best I've seen.

I'm really glad you got Hall. I didn't realize that guy already had a bunch of great trainees. That might not be bad for Gaudreault because he just needs to be locked into Jump Shot training for the next year. If he does that he should become our NT's back-up SF by sometime next season. However, Hall doesn't need Jump Shot, he needs Inside training to turn into a PF beast. I was a work today and couldn't check BB until getting home just now (stupid 15 hour days....) - did Denny pop before you got him?
