Yep, 100% agree with you - this is definitely not good for the state of the game. You put it very succintly when you say you are "either in or you're out". It really would be a lot more fun if everyone could stay competitive rather than a couple teams gunning for the championship, while the rest of the teams sit around in mediocrity to save money.

I am in exactly the same boat that Possum was in last season - I've put everything I've got into trying to win it this season and relying on the promotion money to get me out of financial trouble - if I don't win my team will be suffering the consequences for seasons to come.

Regardless of whether you're training or buying veterans, the cost of winning a championship now is so much more then the money you actually make. I know if I tried to play an economically sound game this season, I wouldn't have a chance in hell of winning.

It also doesn't help that cashed up div 2 teams that have been tanking all season drop down with a piggy bank full of BB dollars, ready to buy up some veterans and pwn their way back to div 2, smashing any dreams we div 3ers have of promoting to the glorious competition they call div 2! hahaha

i think on saturday the question that we have been asking ourselves in this thread could be answered. i fear that might be the case, and make for a very boring III.12 playoffs

Im playing Possum this saturday as well - it will be a good battle I'm thinking. Fingers crossed I can pull off a W and stay in the auto promotion race!

Thought i would have my little say and say Div 2 here we come.

Yoda - is my roster good enough to compete next season?

Is my 11K Arena way too low for Div 2?

Your roster looks amazing but your arena is bad. Still I would save my money at this stage until the playoffs just in case a rival spends up. Once the playoffs begin any money you make you can invest into the arena.

I don't think Tilley CTing it would even win the game. Sorry, Akuma, but the Hippos aren't going to drop Saturday's game unless they play their backups and stuff up the tactics. I'm just saying...

i am making a loss each week at the moment, but feel my team is worth the loss i am making.

will have to use the promotion money to put into my arena
