Wth? wouldnt taller player train slower at guards, why would it be a waste of time training him at guard, in fact since hes 6'5 he would be faster at guard training. no offense dude but you contradict yourself, your SF prospect is the same age and height with lower skill and potential. now you see him as a great prospect but you think my SF prospect is a 6'5 ft C??? If i sell him, I have no surprise that who will be bidding on him...

I think that the issue with his position is less his height than it is his low guard skills, particularly his jump shot. JS is crucial for small forwards so it will take a long time to train him in the non-big man skills needed to make him a good SF.

Exactly. Very low outside skills. And for SF Wendon who if he is not the best SF of the game he is 1 of the best he has less than 40k salary, so for my SF prospect potential is not a real issue. The soft cap for Allstar potential is around 65k, even that some saying that SF's tend to cap at lower salary, with 40k, i can still have great SF.

Whats the great on my SF, even with his low potential, is that has 6-7 on every important SF skill, something that SplitJ cant say for his own, and there is my argument

I actually wish Wendon had a bit more potential. He started to slow down in training when he hit 23 and this season training was really, really slow. On the other hand, I don't know if that was because of his potential or because of his age/height.

Well who u prefer as SF prospect? him:

Age: 18
Height: 6'5" / 196 cm
Potential: hall of famer
Game Shape: respectable

Jump Shot: awful Jump Range: mediocre
Outside Def.: pitiful Handling: respectable
Driving: mediocre Passing: awful
Inside Shot: strong Inside Def.: average
Rebounding: strong Shot Blocking: respectable
Stamina: awful Free Throw: inept

or my prospect:

Age: 18
Height: 6'5" / 196 cm
Potential: allstar
Game Shape: average

Jump Shot: respectable Jump Range: mediocre
Outside Def.: respectable Handling: inept
Driving: atrocious Passing: pitiful
Inside Shot: strong Inside Def.: respectable
Rebounding: average Shot Blocking: average
Stamina: awful ↑ Free Throw: inept

For me the 1st player is a waste of potential, that he will never be able to fill.

Of course height and age are big factors for the training, and in Wendon case being that tall must be painful slow to skill up his guards skills. The same problem that i have with my SF on his big men skills. By comparison my 20 y/o C got 10 pop ups this season when the SF 7.

In truth, to have a very very good player non C, Allstar is not bad at all. C's are an other story thought

I agree - the player still has to have the starting skills to make it. On the other hand, Vacirca on my team started off with slightly lower skills than Wendon but he should eventually pass him because of his potential.

Also - for the height - because of my shift in what I want in SFs - I believe that shorter is better. You particularly need more outside d, which trains slowly on a guy who is 6'10".

how is his outside skill is bad, hes got no atrocious and his handling and Jr is already good enough, all he need is just OD and jump shot.
