Isn't it possible to sell your players and time it so you still have them available for the final, but that they sell before the economic update on sunday night/monday morning?

That way you'll only have to pay the salary floor and will surely save you enough money, with the addition of whatever transfer fees you receive to avoid bankruptcy.

Yes, and it's probably Roozer's best course of action here. Even if he/she does manage to win the III.16 championship, he/she will still have no money and a squad of expensive deteriorating players to his/her name. Any division II season campaign would have to be a tanking one, where he/she just accumulates money and possibly has a crack at scouting in the draft...

Roozer, this strategy would involve putting your players on the transfer list on Thursday night, after the usual starting time for league games on your schedule but before 1am or so. The deadline, assuming that you list for 3 days, would fall after game 3 on Sunday but before the financial update on Monday morning...

Hi All

Firstly, thanks for the responses and advice, it is greatly appreciated.

Well the economy update has run, and i still have not received this warning email.

Before the update was run, my balance was - 406,210 (received some money on my semi final game saturday night)

This morning, my balance is - 673,158

So i assume its safe to say that i wont go into bankrupt because i have not received this warning email?

And yeah i will probably have to list a couple of the expensive blokes Thursday night to relieve the pressure,

I don't get it. How did you end in this situation? Your arena is not the best choice.

You should be selling anyway IMO. For a few reasons.

1. You will be paying this seasons salary for them and they will be not worth that much.
2. By not paying over the salary floor for your new league you will save money and might actually have some of your promotion bonus left.
3. You can buy a couple of ok trainees after the draft which can be trained to be better then all but one of your players within a couple of seasons for very little.
4. You will struggle player and finance wise in Div II. Your best option is to save money and build to come back again when you are better prepared.
5. You need to stop buying bleachers and build all the other seats. Your current arena will not be able to get you the income needed to do well in Div II. Build up the lower seats as soon as possiable.

You will do well to win div III but need to do some work to do well in Div II. If you want more help you can pm me.

OK no worries. Hopefully i can win then re-do my team.

Apparently if you promote, its a good idea to increase your ticket prices as you will most likely sell out your area for a few weeks. Is that true?

But im going to re-assess at the end of the final series.

Off topic, but reckon i am a good chance to win this in 3? We both seem to have a balanced team, but he gets 2 home games, so who knows!

Cheers

I would still list the 130k player to sell after your game starts Sunday. If you do you might servive even if you do not win.

And yes up your prices heaps. Keep bleachers about the same but with your small seats in other areas I would set them all to max
