Hi MC,

Welcome to BB Malaysia! Thanks for stepping up to the plate and offering your assistance coaching our NT! New blood and insight is definitely appreciated in such a small community and not to mention low participation.

As opposed to the less welcoming posts by my fellow Malaysians I would like to extend my gratitude to you for running for the election!

Would like to share my experience pertaining to BB Malaysia community so that you can both know what to expect should you get nominated as the NT Coach and at the same time can start thinking how you could have done better.

I joined BB Malaysia during the peak when our active users were filling up until Div III back in season 10-15. However, even then I had difficulty getting much participation from the users when trying to improve the community be it a mentorship program or scouting program. Don't get me wrong, there were plenty of posts and feedbacks on ideas on what can be done to improve the community. But when it comes to actually doing the work, hardly anyone offers a helping hand (even those who provides feedbacks and ideas).

Hopefully you can contribute and ignite something within the community.
Just would like to give you a realistic idea of what to expect with regards to getting participation from the community for the NT.

Hello Music_Chick,

As my fellow Malaysian countrymen (that's a joke, I'm French) said, the most challenging part of the election is to get the community involved. Recently, the number of users has dropped critically and even our Division II is filled with computerized teams, leave alone Division II.1 which is still interesting. As the Malaysia U21 NT manager for the season to come and hopefully more, I would gladly support any move which may strengthen our community but my hopes are reasonably low.

Here are my questions:

1/ What do you know about the current Malaysian NT team? What do you think? What weaknesses/strengths does the team have?

2/ What skills you favour in a player? Defensive or offensive? Do you prefer multi skilled players or do you prefer more specialized players? Are you more familiar with training inside or outside players?

3/ Where did you live in France? I'm myself from south of France.

AGain, I definitely understand your point of view.. in reference to your point about why I'm running if i've never shown effort in your community... to that I Never knew I was going to run for an NT election at all, so I didnt know I'd run at all, and thus did not get involved in your cmmunity.. was nothing against Malaysia...

Thank you for your warm welcome. Any experiences to share is amazing... this is a new area for me to explore and it would be dumb of me not to take any opinions or input that are available.
