I just went abroad on a private visit couple days ago and didnt have full access to the Internet. Now the situation is much better and i am available now. I promised to post an overview about our rivals, but i had no time and actualle the rosters were not optimal. Sorry, my bad. But i am going to review our opponents just before the game. Next post will be tomorrow.

I want to express gratitude to the managers who got pops for our players and keep GS ion a high level. Aslo one players (its a team secret) got 2 pops on a very important skills for his position. His manager made really good job.

And now the bad news. One of the team leaders droped his GS to 5. His manager is absent from 16th June. What is more, this manager also owns 18yo MVP with really great starting skills and onether descent player for u21 team. Do you know Flood Malawi's manager, Ebene? It could solve this situation much faster than going this players free agents.

Thats all for toaday, more news to come

Hello, boys and girls. Here is promissed Ghana overview.

Ghana is really weak this season, but i am not underestimating them. I saw descent PG and C in their roster and they can move the ball really well. We are playing for the W and the most possible points difference. All matches will be playing in South Africa, that is our main advantage. I missed this fact earlier, but now i am even more concerned. Our roster is not optimal, but GS is much better then in Ghana.

I will try to post little pre-game post tomorrow about our tactic for the match. I am not sure about it, cause we will be playing similar plays in future. So i want to hear your thoughts about it. I can just PM local managers if the are aware about it.

So, viva South Africa. First match win will be very inspiring for me and important for the final standing in the second group stage, cause Ghana is able to promote further. Bye)

Ghana vs. South Africa 62 - 95 (29498) +33

The game was really easy and i had no doubts about the W. Nevertheless, i managed to fail with GDP and Ghana predicted our inside focus. That is really bad, because i hoped to get at least +50.
The game itself. We were dominating all match long, 4th q was played by the bench.
Positive things
Great game for E-5 duo Mandela-Brocklehurst. First one single handed leaded the team in first half, the second one showed up his versatility and scored with nice FG%. Ben Jacob grabed all rebs, as well as Nyoni from the bench. Toivo, despite his poor GS, played really well as for. I planned to put him in the starting line-up before Friday, but i am happy that he leaded the team in 4th q.

What i dont liked
Our salary leader Cebekhului showed up really poor perfomance, both on rebs and shots. I am not sure now what is the reason, but i think that PF position is not suitable for him. Luckily we have a lot of time before important matches. Also, Ngoma was a bit passive as for his skillset and i wanted him to play better.

All others played well. Defence is what i like the most in the team and today we managed to limit opponents only with 62 points. That is what the key to the vicrories.

Other matches finished without surprises.
Tounes U21 vs. Senegal 0 - 50 (29500) Senegal has the best roster this season so the W was just a matter of time. But Tounes decided not to play and got technical loss.
Al Maghrib vs. Nigeria U21 71 - 96 (29501) Nigeria with higher attitude defeated Marocco. The teams are approximately equal so attitude played the key role.
Misr vs. Al Jazair 79 - 100 (29499) Algeria without any difficulties won Egypt. Egypt has maybe the worst roster this season and has very low chances to promote further.

Next match we are playing vs Marocco (Al Maghrib U21).
They have slightly better roster this season and came up in better game shape for this match. Also Marocco has unbalanced roster with dominant inside tactics. There is no descent PG that can help us to make interceptions and force turnovers.
(29501) They lost previous match with lower attitude. The difference a bit large as for me, because i see Marocco in the semis for sure, and under certain circumstances they can win the tournament.
As for us, we got few popps, but not so important that last week. Also, we got an unexpected new best defender=) Gameshape is good, but could be much better, so we have more chances for the W. I dont want to talk too much because want to keep tactics in secret)
Personally i think that teams have equal chances to win, even maybe we are slightly behind. So i need to play kind a mindgames to beat them.
Good luck South Africa!

(29502) +37. Won again without any difficulties. I have failed with GDP once again, sorry, but i dont understand our opponents logic at all. They are playing tactics that automatically put them by far behind and they cant score as with LI for example. Also, Marocco put more attitude in this game, what is not so nice for us, cause they will play w/out enth further. I tried to mislead their manager via our forum and a bit overestimated their chances. I dont know, if their manager read my massage or not. But i want to say that i expected them to play LI and to get easy win with like 20 points margin. Their coach decided to show his tactical awereness and played patiant with awfull SG. Well, thx for ez W. Nothing to say more.

As for match, we took the leadership from the beginning and leaded throuth the final whistle. There were 2 key spurts at the beginning of 2nd and 3rd quarters that made the difference. All players performed well, i cant even distinguish a single leader. I would like to note only 2 double-doubles by Cebekhului and Malete.

Just a few words about other matches
Nigeria vs. Tounes 108 - 89 (29503) The same tactics and defence, expected victory but too little difference as for me, only 19. Our next opponent (Tounisia) played with higher attitude 2nd time in a row that is great for us and will make our victory even more possible.

Senegal vs. Misr 111 - 82 (29504) Also same tactics (Push the ball Egypt falepalm), but Senegal was more successfull with defence. Once again too little margin for as for teams status and correct defence.

Al Jazair vs. Ghana 111 - 72 (29505) No surprises here for both winner and margin. Nice ratings for Algeria, really tough opponent for us.
