USA II.1 Power Rankings – Part 2
By Buzzer-Manager (cont.)

9. Baker Street Irregulars (8-7, +121)
Smart team with strong defense and solid passing. Lack some scoring depth and offensive variety, but still a tough out. They could grind their way into the second round if the cards fall right.

10. SomeTeam (8-7, +57)
Respectable record, but slipping in form. Their shooting is near the bottom of the league, and recent results have been shaky. Metrics say they’re average—and that might not be enough down the stretch.

11. Hemet Hooligans (6-9, -189)
They hustle. Roush and Barbarossa give effort every night, and they dominate weaker teams. But against playoff squads? They just don’t have the firepower. Best of the lower-tier, but capped.

12. Big Forest (1-14, -279)
Santos puts up big numbers, but that’s about it. Their lone win is ancient history now, and they were completely dismantled by Wasted Potential. Offense can’t keep pace, and defense is leaking.

13. Corntucky Mildcats (5-10, -200)
Their offensive woes are crippling—worst FG% in the league. They play hard and defend better than the record suggests, but they’ve hit a ceiling.

14. The White Mambas (4-11, -207)
Some fight, but not enough talent. Defensively vulnerable, and offense disappears for long stretches. A couple flashes early, but the story’s written.

15. Harbor City Storm (2-13, -258)
Tough season. They’ve been competitive in spurts, but turnovers and defensive lapses always undo the effort. They’re rebuilding, and it shows.

16. southpaw army (0-15, -1082)
Historically bad. Worst FG%, worst PA, worst point differential by nearly 800. A -72 average margin of defeat is almost unheard of. Nothing more to say.

Final Word:
Ostriches, Knights, and Heels are your top dogs—no doubt. But the next tier is thick with dangerous contenders. The Smallfries’ move may be the season’s biggest swing, and the Idiots are surging late. Meanwhile, Wavy Gates and Wasted Potential need to tighten the screws before it’s too late. The bottom? A total bloodbath.

We’re entering the final stretch—every result now echoes into playoff seeding. Stay locked in.

Yes, and hopefully an ATG potential, which would make it easier to endure this ChatGPT slander

D.II.1 – Season 68: Day 16 Recap (May 31, 2025)
by Buzzer-Manager

Blue Ocean Unloads a Barrage, Bandeira Claims the Throne, and Smallfries’ Superteam Assembles
The playoff picture is heating up, and Day 16 delivered with lopsided wins, MVP-caliber outings, and a few harsh wake-up calls. Blue Ocean blitzed southpaw army, TAR HEELS #1 and Wavy Gates reasserted their dominance, and Smallfries reminded everyone why they’re building a juggernaut just in time for the postseason.

Blue Ocean Sets the Bar at 140
This was pure basketball carnage. Blue Ocean smashed southpaw army 140–57 in a game that was over before halftime. Four players scored 20+, Z. Kincaid dished 11 assists, and the team racked up 43 assists and 18 steals. O. Espí was a two-way force with 30 & 12. This was surgical—and a message: Blue is back.

Smallfries Debut Their Final Form
Smallfries officially unveiled their postseason monster with the debut of $208k scoring machine Dawid Oskroba—and the results were devastating. G. Bandeira torched The White Mambas for 35 points and 3 blocks, while N. Neside added 29. With Oskroba now in the mix, the Friez have transformed from dangerous to terrifying. The chemistry is coming together—and it’s happening right on schedule.

TAR HEELS #1 and Wavy Gates Flatten Overmatched Foes
Two contenders got their groove back. The Heels ran Harbor City Storm out of the gym, 112–51, in a 64-rebound, 6-player double-digit scoring effort. Meanwhile, Wavy Gates demolished Big Forest 135–92, powered by 16 boards from I. Marcos and 11 assists from M. Toros. These are the kinds of business-like wins that real contenders chalk up late in the season.

Kings Knights Handle Business Against Ostriches
Kings Knights dispatched the Flying Ostriches 112–96 behind a balanced effort and trademark defensive pressure. G. Short didn’t need to carry the load—this was team basketball executed at a high level. The Knights keep cruising.

Hooligans, Mildcats, and Wasted Potential Keep Pace
Hemet Hooligans mauled SomeTeam 115–50 with 15 blocks and all-around dominance. Corntucky Mildcats pulled away late to bury Baker Street Irregulars 91–72. Wasted Potential locked down Village Idiots 93–80 in a grind-it-out slugfest to stay in the upper tier.

The Bad News for SomeTeam and southpaw army
SomeTeam was embarrassed by the Hooligans and had the night’s worst individual performance (Mendoza, -6 efficiency). Meanwhile, southpaw army turned the ball over 24 times and got run off the floor by 83. They’re not just slumping—they’re unraveling.

Key Takeaways
• Blue Ocean just dropped 140 and made it look easy.
• G. Bandeira is on fire—and with Oskroba now in, Smallfries look terrifying.
• TAR HEELS #1 and Wavy Gates are reasserting elite form.
• Kings Knights continue their quiet campaign of excellence.
• Hooligans are playing like they’ve got a point to prove.
• southpaw army has fully lost the plot.

Final Word:
Day 16 was full-throttle dominance from the league’s top-tier teams. The standings may be tight, but the separation in execution is growing clearer. Smallfries are now a complete squad. Blue Ocean’s ceiling is sky-high. And the playoff race just got a whole lot more urgent.

June is here—and the margin for error is gone.

D.II.1 – Season 68: Day 17 Recap (June 3, 2025)
by Buzzer-Manager

Smallfries Explode for 137, Irregulars Celebrate 900th Win, and Kings Knights Win the Clash of Titans
From historic team wins to superstar individual nights, Day 17 brought fireworks across the league. Smallfries detonated for a season-high 137 points, Kings Knights edged out Blue Ocean in a nail-biter, and Baker Street marked their 900th club win in style. The playoff air is getting heavier—some are rising, some are unraveling.

Smallfries Torch southpaw army, Again
We’re running out of adjectives for this team. The Friez demolished southpaw army 137–60, led by MVP N. Neside’s 27 & 10 with 4 steals and 3 blocks. G. Bandeira chipped in 23–7–5. Smallfries also posted team highs across the board: 137 points, 65 boards, 39 assists, 18 steals, and 11 blocks. It’s official—this team has arrived.

Kings Knights Edge Blue Ocean in the Heavyweight Duel
This was the game of the night. Kings Knights held off Blue Ocean 112–107 in a back-and-forth showdown that had playoff energy. Silva was superb for Blue (25 & 13), but it wasn’t enough to stop the Knights’ closing execution. No stars needed to go nuclear—just smart, poised team basketball. These two could meet again soon… and it would be must-watch.

Irregulars Crush Wavy for Win No. 900
Baker Street Irregulars delivered their best win of the season, stomping Wavy Gates 110–91 at home to secure their 900th club win. G. Ruxing caught fire for 37 points and N. Radenović played disruptor with 5 steals. Wavy looked flat again—have the champs truly lost their edge?

TAR HEELS #1 Keep Rolling, Big Forest Burns
The Heels bullied Big Forest 119–80, with Mikos and company coasting behind confident, up-tempo ball. Mikos had a clean 26–6–3 night with 3 steals. This team looks locked in and peaking at the right time.

Overton Goes Off in Hooligans’ Shootout Win
Hemet Hooligans needed every bit of S. Overton’s 36-point eruption to get past Harbor City Storm 125–111. Freeman had 14 assists for the Storm, but the Hooligans’ size and pace wore them down.

Flying Ostriches Clip Wasted Potential
The Ostriches shut down Wasted Potential 89–73 with a focused defensive effort. C. Webb had a brutal outing for WP, finishing with a -6 efficiency. The Ostriches are trending upward—Wasted Potential, not so much.

Village Idiots Annihilate the Mambas
Village Idiots ran through The White Mambas 116–67 in a clinic on pace and movement. Lambert went the distance, and the entire team feasted on Mambas mistakes. Southpaw isn’t the only squad imploding.

Mildcats Handle Business vs. SomeTeam
Corntucky took care of SomeTeam 84–69 with V. Fraser patrolling the paint (7 blocks, 48 minutes). Utters grabbed 18 boards for SomeTeam in vain. Another quiet step forward for the surging ‘Cats.

Key Takeaways
• Smallfries have become a scary good machine—Oskroba, Bandeira, Neside… it’s playoff-ready.
• Kings Knights passed a huge test with calm under fire.
• Wavy Gates are suddenly in real trouble—third loss in four.
• Baker Street Irregulars celebrated a milestone in style.
• Overton may be the most underrated star in the league.
• Blue Ocean fought valiantly, but top seeds don’t care about “close.”
• The bottom tier teams—southpaw, Mambas, SomeTeam—are getting buried.

Final Word:
Day 17 was a proving ground. The elite sharpened their form, the middle shook things up, and the bottom… got steamrolled. Smallfries just posted the most dominant performance of the season, Kings Knights showed their mettle, and Baker Street etched their name into the history books.

Playoff clarity is coming. Just not for the teams stuck looking up.
