lol well at least a couple of guys are up for a challenge!

Realistically a lot of the time i wont be playing a full strength lineup / regular tactics I'll be trying to things and experimenting a bit.

But honestly guys if your that worried about me that you wanna start bringing in rules or caps etc... then just say so. Really I'm not that fussed and seems like you guys have something decent going here so if I'm gonna be a hassle / cause issues then i can go else where.


P.S. iwen, no one can stop Couto Costa, Couto Costa just relaxes from time to time...

hahah I can't wait for you to join so i can test out my team against yours and see how I'm doing. I havent even had the chance to play against a TOP tier ABBL team yet. and cups dont count since i just TIE and tank it with my bench players anyways when i do draw an ABBL team.

For our league to accommodate teams like c-cats we will definitely need a promote/demotion system and also a few refinements or else c-cat will just simply wipe the floor clean with every team he faces.

So maybe have that 4 or 5 team mini league thing within the 16 team PL.
eg.
team 1
c-cat (abbl), immortals (div3), jw allstars (div3), possum pete (div3).
team 2
goldfish, iwen, koops, cowboys. (div2.1)
team 3
seagulls, datzilla, sas, naker (div2 allstars)
team 4
u get the idea...

this way even though c-cat will get 16-0, it will still be a competitive league and he will have to carry the div3 guys either thru coaching tactics or simply being awesome with 16 wins.

I would like to re-submit my interest in this league as well.

The TEA Cup has taken out a lot of my enthusiasm to be honest and would like to be part of this if possible.

The prospect of being able to play against a ABBLer would be awesome! I would be able to see how far behind one of the top teams would be. Albeit I tanked against Direwolf in the Cup semi final, it would be good to see how close I'd come to one of the top teams had I played my best lineup.

instead of tanking against Direwolf, maybe you could've tanked it against JW All Stars and then we'd be saying "damn monkey biz aint that strong, he lost against JW All Stars, we should consider him for our Private League" hahahah Though if I had DireWolf the next round it means I would've only missed out on $60k.

I like the idea of different teams being grouped up with other top teams, it really encourages team work within those teams. I know i like to discuss tactics and other strategies with my other XBB teammates all the time, which is what makes Private League so interesting.

Though if we keep the same format, I don't mind replacing old teams with some new faces, could freshen up the comp as well, especially if there are teams not active on the forums.

Ha....If I tanked against you in that cup game, you would probably have faltered in the next round anyway :P.

I'm happy I still managed to knock off an ABBLer along the way :P before coming up against BLS.

btw...your CT vs my TIE was a major fail :P

Now that people have explained it better and talking about having teams of 4, i am pretty excited for this. This means that even with all the different ranked teams the CONSTRUCTORS CHAMPIONSHIP (to take from F1) could become the most prestigious thing in the league.

Also to be able to learn from higher teams is always appreciated.

I have to agree. Quite simply we can have 2 divisions with teams with either 4 teams across two divisions or 8 teams over 2 divisions. The team with the highest total number of wins....wins!

if the 4 team system is going forward id like to put my team up for consideration as the tea cup seems to be falling apart , my team will be back come next season so i wont be tanking any games , i also will be a div 3 rebuilding teams .

Well if everybody else is jumping ship I may as well put my team up for consideration as well. Like others have said, it would be good to go up against much stronger teams to see how far behind (ie, crap) my team is.
