Well its All-Star Week and we are already down to 4 teams......

In last week's episode three more teams were voted off the island.... In the Big 8 the sun failed to shine as the grazers were hounded by the Prairie Dogs while in the Great 8, the Lions were too pround and undressed the Browncoats and the Closers could not finish the Thunderstorm and were bolted from the Tourney.

For the Tuesday night games....games are pretty straight forward as only one league game this week.

Rockford (3-10) at Div III San Diego Shamu (9-4) - Rockford will have to stop Bolivian NT player Luciano Arismendi to advance.....will be a tough on and I see Rockford extending their run on the road as they have more inside depth than the home team.

Funky Town Fire (6-7) at Div II Golden Horde (0-13) - The Horde have four solid players and home court advantage, is it enough? The Fire should be able to dance through this one but it wont be easy ....

Pwnstrz (5-8) vs Div II Seagulls (10-3) - Seagulls have good depth and the Pwnstrz match up well with them but with Devon Jones out the Seagulls will soar.....

Beware of Dogs (4-9) at Div III RunningGuns (7-6) - Dont let either team's record fool you both are good and this will be another close one, advantage Guns being at home......

Game of the Week - Yeah its cheesy but all games will be good ones ......

Ok cws33 here and its Tourney Prediction Night for Game #2 of All Star Week

In Tuesday's episode, the Seagulls had the pwnstrz marker and soared to the next round .... so we are now down to 3 teams in Div 2.iV.

So for Thursdays Games we have:

Rockford (3-10) vs Div II Prairie Dogs (10-3) - The question here is who plays as both teams are in league battles, does Rockford go for it at the expense of league or try to get out of the number 8 spot, and the P-Dogs are in a tough playoff battle with 3 teams at 10-3. The Dogs have a few more quality dogs in the kennel but Rockford is a home...could be a great game or a laugher.....my guess is the Dogs by a nose...

Funky Town Fire (6-7) vs NBBA Eugene Register Guard (9-4) - I dont think the Fire will dance out of this one and save it for league as the Eugene is on guard and ready for the home team.

Beware of Dogs (4-9) vs atDiv II Red Robots (4-9) - This one is looking to be a close one and could be a battle of backups....Big Dog Watkins' injury tips it to the home team with the Robots methodically winning a squeeker....

Sigh, was good run while it lasted. I think this is an insurmountable obstacle!

Doh. I used my use lineup from previous matchup option but forgot to remove the GDP guess. It cost me. Doh!

Arg, I hate it when I do that, too.
In Utopia, a team did that and luckily GDP'd my Patient offense, which I had never run before, so it somehow worked to his benefit.

Sigh. Normally such a mistake wouldn't matter. All good though. Got my 48 training mins!

I thought I had you, but then you chipped away at my 10 point 4th quarter lead, AND coolly sank two FT's at the buzzer to win by 1. Bummer of a game for my team in the end, but a great one to watch.

I am on travel this week and I was catching bits and pieces and saw the last five minutes....gotta say a tough one to lose ...good luck the rest of the way.

Well its Wednesday night and prognostication time

In last weeks episode the Prairie Dogs left our Rockford (files) out on the range with no place to go..... our Funky Town fire suddenly developed two left feet and could not dance with the Eugene Register Guard...lastly the Red Robots mechanically dismantled Beware of Dogs and sent them back to the pound.

Unfortunately that ends this season's episode of Div II.4 Survivor hope everyone enjoyed it

And as they say in the bigs see ya next year....
