I did play highschool soccer for 4 years even though I am bad at it! I'm more of a basketball guy i'll pass. Plus the change to American to England would be expensive for me unless they pay for it! I live in the NC where the top basketball programs compete in the same conference even though the school I like and got offer the job is small and is in the American conference not nearly as big as the 4 school powerhouses that are in the acc. How about them saints!

ENGLAND 81-91 LITHUANIA
Heading into a game where the winner would edge closer to the semis, both teams started very brightly with both offences on top as we managed to take a slight lead, with Mark Salley being the bright spark once again. The second half saw Lithuania pick up their game as we struggled to contain them drawing a lot of fouls. The Lithuanian's sunk most of their free throws and build a lead by continuing to dominate the English who looked a bit lackluster and tired as the second quarter drew to a close. The second half saw England come out all guns blazing and were able to edge ahead once more with Hayden Bryant and Kevin Finlay becoming more involved and able to create some good chances for the rest of the side. England were then dealt a blow with Tommy Brennan leaving the game because of his sixth foul however Christopher Whyman provided good company to Salley as they sustained a lead of 1 point heading into the last quarter. Throughout the last, the lead alternated several times with both teams unable to prolong a lead. England then saw Kevin Finlay also head to the bench because of his sixth foul and from this point England struggled to grab rebounds giving Lithuania opportunities to extend their lead and they obliged. England pushed throughout but were unable to claw their way back with Lithuania sealing the game thanks to some good free-throw shooting as they broke English hearts and dented their semi-final hopes.

We're still in with a chance of qualifying but we need a few results to go our way and beat the table toppers, Spain. This result really hurt our chances but I'm still confident we can qualify for the World Cup qualifiers, which will be a fantastic achievement. Salley was very good once again in being the vocal point of our attack with some assistance from Whyman. I also thought young, Michael Fitzpatrick, had a brilliant game too.

Our game shape wasn't great this week and probably cost us, but I can't moan as it's been good the majority of the time. We go onto next week where we play the German's.

I feel like it shouldnt be allowed. I heard all sort of crap about chemtrails its to block our sight from nibru its to poison our air and make us feel a certain way at a certain time. I think the goverment is as a corrupt as it gets over here and its annoying when people dont wake up to the truth of the fact. I am 20 years old and still haven't voted in America yet and I don't think I never will. I kinda belive Donald Trump hell be one of my first votes but we need to get better before i'll vote itll take 5 more people like him to get my vote before I consider not being independent.

Zeus I'm from Rotherham, very few people can argue with what Steve Evans achieved with the Millers, very few people would argue that he's anything other than a volatile and often deeply unpleasant man. As it seems is your Chairman. This will end in tears, lawsuits, death threats.....or promotion.

I believe every word of that is right. Except for the last one.

ENGLAND 72-91 GERMANY
This game gave both sides the chance of qualifying for the World Cup qualifiers of next term giving both sides some impetus to win. The game started well for both sides and was close throughout with Germany edging ahead with the scoreboard at 19-16. The second quarter saw the Germans totally outplay their opponents destroying England outscoring them by 13 points, mainly thanks to the German Centre who collected 17 points by half time with the score at 35-51. From there on in, it was an uphill task for England who never really gathered momentum to worry the Germans despite Kevin Finlay and Thomas Powell both shooting well. England managed to claw some points back in garbage time of the fourth but were unable to mount a comeback denting their chances of reaching the semi finals of the Euros and qualifying for the World Cup qualifiers. In the end, Germany were deserved winners with the score 91-72.

Ultimately, this game was for the taking and decided which country would be challenging the worlds best on BB next season in the World Cup. I totally take the blame for this result for some reason, I forgot to crunch the game. I can't think why I didn't as it was such an easy call in hindsight but I'm extremely disappointed as I definitely think we could have had more of a say in this game. Barring a miracle against Spain next week and Germany losing to Croatia, we will not finish in the top 3 which secures a chance of qualifying for the World Cup.

Thanks to the managers for GS, it was ok this week but we really missed some big players. Hopefully we can finish on a high next week against Spain.

ENGLAND 70-92 SPAIN
Coming up against Spain was the toughest task of the tournament so far and England required a win to make the qualifying rounds of next season's World Cup. After forgetting to crunch last week, we had the extra effort against Spain which would hopefully make a difference. As expected, Spain were dominant in the first half with England struggling to contain the Spanish big men which saw Spain take a lead of 49-31 into the break. In the third, England came out and managed to piece together some choices and get Thomas Powell open for some outside looks, which the offence was intended for. The final quarter saw the second string Spain side come out and still manage to make it very very difficult for England as Spain eased to a 92-70 win.

Over the course of the season, I'd never have thought that we would have make it through the group considering the teams we were drawn against. I'm extremely happy with how the season has gone and overwhelmed by the support I've received too. For one final time, thank you to all the managers who contributed throughout the season with the excellent game shape, you're the reason we've enjoyed such a successful campaign. I've removed all of the 21 year olds from the team and decided to analyse where we are at with the U20's at the moment. 5 players remain from this season's squad.

Finally, I've decided to select a player of the season and for me, it's between three players who have all been outstanding for us over the course of the season. The candidates were Mark Salley, David Carter and Hayden Bryant.

The player of the season goes to David Carter, who won us some crucial games in the first round thanks to his impressive shooting inside and out. He's going to be a star for the NT if he continues at the rate he's going, so congratulations goes to Gauson on producing a wonderful player.

No disgrace to lose to Spain. Its been a fantastic season. Great job by you, Arrows, and all the guys who've trained players for this year's team. Well done all round.
