Of course, my other concern at this point is that if I play Princeton and don't get a blowout, Shultz simply refuses to sit on the bench. 47 minutes last night, 46 last Friday in my PL game, it's really frustrating - his stamina's down to respectable. It's sad that I'd push a button right now to drop his stamina two levels and probably pay 100k to do so if I, you know, had that kind of money.
First, hats off to you for having an effective Princeton team.
Second, I have a similar concern with my SG, Dziesminieks (I call him 'Deks').
My sub pattern had both him and my starting PG, Rost, being backed up by Sungrazer original Kenny Cheek.
However, somehow Deks decided that he'd play 48 minutes instead of taking any time on the bench. Sheesh!
I hope his GS doesn't fall to Average on Friday.
His Stamina is only a high Mediocre and he's still playing all game.
Yeah, one guy backing up two spots can also get screwy - I have that going on currently since I let Carver go, so I have essentially Busch/Klein/Cheek to play PF/C. Luckily I've gotten all of them down low enough in stamina since I've had them for all this time so that both starters are generally under 40 minutes (at least, when Busch doesn't do his fifteen minute foul out). I think a blank lineup would help situations like that more, but I generally hate that - I like to set up the players to play in the positions they're in for good reasons, but since there's nothing we can do to let the coach know we actually want some minutes from the backup too, it might be time to get into blanking.
Of course, I noticed Deks didn't come out while watching the game, at least once I got online in the second quarter. And since Wray got hurt, although I had Namo as reserve at SG as well as backup at SF, Hpneycutt never came out again either that I recall.
Incidentally, I don't have an effective Princeton team, as much as a pretty solid defensive team that sucks equally well at almost any offensive tactic. ;)
