Dearall,

Appreciate the discusssion board back in focus again. yes Im been slack in not contributing over the last couple of seasons and will make the effort over the weekend.

cheers

gaze

The posts keep piling in. I think Gaze would be the next up after mattrulez since he has been here the longest :D.

The Adelaide Ravens is managed by a mischievous puppet, Mattrulez. The Adelaide Ravens is infact under guidance of the U21 NT manager. They are one of the stronger if not strongest team on the blue side and will be the team to beat next season. With a healthy income from ticket sales, they are able to constantly buff up a beastly Center, Arcuator. The 21 yo old center is currently playing for the U21 NT and is unstoppable on the inside. This season Matt has been honing Arcuator's deadly mid range jumpers which is be hard to defend for many bigs. Despite playing out of position, Arcuator proved to be very productive on the court and always lead his team in scoring...

to be continued....

The Chris Webber of III.2 or more of a Karl Malone?

Thanks for the advice to you and the mango man.

I am looking forward to the ASW, i dont think any of my players will make the team, but i am hoping to win the 3 point shootout as one of my players won it last season.

Goood luck to you all!!

Hehe, nice write up mate :) I don't regret selling Sauvage except for the fact that I sold him way too cheap. In saying that, his replacement has a Jump shot rating of Legendary. If I can work out how to maximise that, points won't be a problem.

Gonna be tough to make the playoffs again this season due to the strength of our conference.

well its been a frustrating year for the manager, lack of funds and unfortunately I have tried numerous time to off load the big fellow Cruze for additional funds, it just hasnt happened. In some ways this has stopped the overall development of the team.

The replacements in training are more than handy to compensate his sale eg Tuckey and Stauber.

Coming from a non basketball background has found this to be bit of a challenge but we will soldier on....

cheers

keep up with the posts, they are always read and smiled at.....Ravens blah.....

Haha true, unless the opposition is using full court press, then it's game over :D

I think this week week is the first cross conference match ups. It looks like the Big 8 have humiliated the Great 8 except for 1 game, the tide is slowly changing.
Well done to the teams that won on Saturday and bl to Dazzas, who did put in good effort against VM.

Would anyone like to speculate as to the all star line-ups. Who's the certainties from their team? Any likely to miss out?

From Mangoloids pov, I think I'll be lucky to have anyone in the side, despite being 2 games clear on top. I might get Eder Arbizu, but probably on the bench. I won't get any guards in as I rotate too much. My best player Wazza Tickle doesnt even qualify for rankings.

Does anybody have any insight to the formula used? My boss (Coachnoodles of Billy Hoyles Boys) reckons it goes by rating for each position, but if you rotate positions, like between SG and SF, you are unlikely to make it. Arcuato is no chance after playing guard for training, and thats a big loss. I can't see the Blue team winning this time.

My guess is, your player needs to play 30+ min per game in 1 position for so long and needs to get constant high rating. I've got trainees that I play 48+ minute one game and 12 minutes the next, only made it to the Allstar bench while a guy I play 30+ for two games a week gets to start.

This season, I think only my SF will make it to the starting line up and this would be the starting line up for great 8

C: Harel Narkis ($ 79 496) average rating: 13 - warrirors basketball club
PF: Ted Marcum ($ 65 895) average rating: 13 - Vis Maior
SF: Tonho Castro ($ 24 298) - average rating: 10 - Da Fat Boy Slim
SG: Elspeth Mulvey ($ 36 386) - average rating: 10 - Vis Maior
PG: Alvin Migallos ($28 065) average rating: 11.5 - warrirors basketball club

which side will win this season?
