Can you explain me this system with the training?i see him poping up in free throws and jump shot and drivin the same week...how can this happen?

It takes many seasons to train a player into a monster. 4 weeks of injury in the long run isn't going to change the outcome by very much. It's not easy to get a player with hall of famer potential so I'd say keep him, be patient and train him. Trust me, he can still turn into a monster if you keep training him until he's 25/26 or so. And you could train stamina/free throw during the next 4 weeks or so.

The pops in JS and DR are as a result of cross-training, where 90% of a training week are spent on the skill being trained, and the other 10% goes to another skill.

Why would anyone buy a player injured for 4 weeks?

Weekly salary: $ 2 950

Obviously not a great move for a 100k-ish+ player, but a trainee, sure


I hadn't noticed the salary. I see the point now, yes. He'll go at a discount perhaps because of the injury, and in the long run it's not that much missed training time. Nor is it much salary to pay.

I see some higher-priced players on the TL injured, and I figure those are generally bad deals because you have to wait for the healing and then for the GS to improve. That could take half a season, and you'd be paying for all that uselessness.

But yes, for a cheap trainee, I understand.

Well, if you're in the mood for training ST and FT for the next four weeks, you could pass the time that way if you still wish to improve this guy and keep him. I'd recommend training FT 3x and ST 1x. This way, you still improve this homegrown player, and you also give the rest of your team a boost in FT/ST at the same time.

This idea falls apart if you have several other trainees with strict training programs, of course.
