Well, it makes you easier to scout once your players all have the same special offense. I am switching lineups and offenses all the time to some degree, so I guess I´d try to get at least two different offense thingies going for my team.

Actually, if the bonus is small enough to not blast games but simply add a little (like .2 gameshape bonus in that very tactic) it could be quite fun.

Well, it doesn't have to be one tactic. It could be 2 or maybe up to 3 types of offenses that they are more suitable to. Not as much to take away from the game, but just a little bit more strategy to think about when you decide on the starter/backups and the type of offense you run. Imagine a player has one type of offense they are good at with a high level of ability and the other has 3 types of offenses with a lesser degree of ability. Who do you get and would that one be right for the team. As we all know, a group of superstars is not going to win a championship but getting the right pieces on your team is what makes you win.

but you need all player with the same combinations, or same two tacics in their profile.

Could you by that, i think that would be quite difficult. And you had to consider the strength already at a trainee stage, because with the skills player already are specialised to some tactics where they would perform better then with others.

It's kind of sounding like: "let's make player one play great on tuesday, player 2 on thursday, player 3 on saturday". You should play some players on a given day where they get a bonus. With your suggestion, you remove more strategy instead of gaining more tactical options. You would have one best strategy because of player suggested offence and rest would be suboptimal every time.

Yes, that is what I am getting at. You would have to do that which adds to who would be the right fit for your team and not just the best player available. When you look at it, it is pretty impossible for a player to be equally skilled at every single offensive or defensive set there is.

I understand what you mean, but how about(which I even think is impossible to do in this game) for a player to "learn" to be skilled(i.e. your players that are drafted) from the amount of time they play in offensive and defensive sets by the amount of games they play in it.

But, I really don't know how often div I and div II leagues change their tactics. If they change often, I can understand why it doesn't work. My guess they use one tactic more than the others combined.

Only if you build your team like that. You might aswell build a team which can play 4-5 different tactics with different lineups and "only" two (then key) players getting their bonus that night.

I doubt that a team getting bonus on 5 positions while beeing predictable is better than a team able to play 4 offenses with "only'" two guys getting their bonus while the team is unpredictable.

But that is what is going on right now. You take the low post option and the motion option with the focus on the SG, I will bet that the SG is going to score more points in the motion offense. There are SG's that are skilled in backing down their defender and scoring in the low post. My idea was to set it up so you don't limit your "scoring machine" SG

What's the point of this at all? You can already do this by choosing different offences.
If you are seriously thinking that a team with everyone specialised in motion (10 players, with 5 starters being stronger than backups) does worse than a team with mixed specs (10 players equal in strenght to play different tacs) while using the same total salary, then this suggestion kind of falls flat and seems like a cosmetic random change, that really adds nothing to the game...

You could train inside shot and driving for your SG and voila, your SG plays pretty good agains atrocious ID guards in low post offence.

And how should it work? Please imagine we have player, who has JS=20 + JR=20 + IS=1 and he has "bonus ability" when Look Inside tactic is used, and no bonus when team plays Run and Gun? ;-)
And other player who has JS=1 + JR=1 + IS=20 and he has bonus for RnG and no bonus for LI ;-)
I always thought that all skills describe how good is player to play in specific tactics.
