ok. it's time to finish my setup.
i will go for motion offense and m2m in defense and use my best defenders in the paint. one of them has no inside shot at all but, AFAIK a good defense will usually win the game.
my big men are in proficient game shape and i hope this will be enough to stop his center.
hopefully my mid range shooters will do the rest.

ENT is still on double figures so i will play a 'normal' game just in case i make it to the next round and i need to use it again.

thanks everybody for the help.

i have a cup game coming up. my opponent has a much better roster than mine, (57195) but he lacks some game shape and his perimeter defense is 'awful (high)' even in a 3-2 zone.

I don't think he's that much better.

should i stick with my tactics or should i try a RnG / 2-3? i can also use a 'crunch time' in double figures if needed :)

I would definitely use RNG. You have no chance under the basket. Your outside def is pretty much stronger than his outside off and you lack rebounds and inside def. So I would go with 2-3 zone here (again, hehe). You can try normal def but because of the rebounds I prefer 2-3 here.

Let us know how it went.

cheers

Dont you think a slower outside oriented offense would be ebtter as he will lose the war for RB's? Better to shoot less and have a better % then shoot many and have the other team just pick em up as they miss.

He will not lose rebounds with 2-3. And we want speed and many possessions and many rebounds to outrebound the opponent. We want to wear down opposing big men, crowd the post and make them tired. With slow offense he can have let's say 50-43 rebound advantage but with higher tempo I think he can make a bigger difference, let's say 56-40. That's just my opinion. He should decide. You see my point?

cheers

He destroyed him. The gap wasn't too big. Rebounds only 53-51. With 2-3 he would have destroyed him even more. But nothing matters, the win is there.

cheers :)

indeed, an easy win. that's all that matters. one more proof that the game shape advantage is huge.
