This is what happen when his spirit are high... technically, opponent PF is way stronger than him, but PJL game form is at his best. When a player at his best, he can do everything he wants...

Yeah man... i can understood if our team is being blown out...but this is really freakin ridiculous as our wishful thinking were totally being toyed around.

We were leading 5 with 50sec left. I was a bit relaxed to see Iran missed shot after shot, but our player bricked FT after FT -.-... then here comes the worst where Iran never hit any threes at the whole game UNTIL that last 8 seconds dagger... and another one in Overtime... and when we tied it again 85-85, i thought it's gonna be another OT, but here comes that rare stupid foul with time running out... that Iran SG bricked 1st FT then hit the 2nd. game over

U21 SGP - S16 - Action 2 : Singapore vs Taiwan : at least 30pts down?

The Merlions team will be facing the team that suddenly have a tons of Great Wall of their own. Known of their sharpshooters, Taiwan perhaps are on their best as they are owning some great promising young bigman, which will close almost all the opportunity for Singapore to break through or even trying to get close like they did with Iran.

Game will be starting on 8.30pm tonight.

U21 SGP - Season 16 : Game 2 : Taiwan held off Singapore 4th quarter charge, end with 97-83.

At least they fight, but bigteam still bigteam, they know how.

Taiwan used their well-known teamplay to survive after Singapore opened the 4th quarter with 11-4 run, cutting deficit to 86-76. But Quah Kah Jun hit the big triple, 20yo giant Cai Jen Chen overpowered Lim Shi Xin, and Taiwan suddenly up to 91-78 and never threatened again, ended up the fight with 97-83. Zhou Jing Nan led Taiwan with 18pts, Chan See Hai 17pts, Liang Wei Kang with 14pts and 16reb.

Singapore were putting up some fight, resulted in a tight 1st half, where Ang Kok Long, Ahamat Ismail and Chan Teck Yao frequently connected with their long range shot. But they seemed run out of gas at 3rd, although Peh Jian Long scored 9pts at 3rd after miserable 1/5 FG at 1st half, and then Taiwan started to own the game with their largest lead 82-65 going to the 4th. Then the Singapore switched to bigger lineup, led by Goh Wen Shun and PJL, resulted on 11-4 run, before the well experienced Taiwan crews take it over again.

Chan Teck Yao led Singapore with 17pts, Peh Jian Long with 15pts and 9rebs, Ahamat Ismail and Ang Kok Loong with 14pts.

Singapore actually were expected to be blown out, but still capable to maintain a fight to the upper echelon team. But a lose is a lose, and now Singapore is 0-2, and in need to win some game in order to advance to 2nd round.

Singapore next opponent will be Macau at next Monday, which they will attempt for their 1st W.

U21 SGP - Season 16 : Game 3 : Singapore held Macau 70-65 after second half's upside down .

The Merlion squads were about to hung their head at the 3rd quarter, like they always did on previous season. Led 3 pts after half, Singapore were outscored 12-24 on the 3rd, trailed 48-59 with 2 minutes to go. But thanks to a lot of bricks from Macau at the 4th, combined with Singapores increased inside defense intensity, the SGP team stroke back with 20-6 4th quarter points, and finally escaped with a narrow win 70-65 although suffered lots of missed FT near end of the game.

Ahamat Ismail led team with 14pts, Lim Shi Xin 14pts and 11reb, Peh Jian Long with 11pts, 12rebs and 3 blks. LSX, PJL and Goh Wen Shun played big part to slow down the aggresive Macau bigman Dai Rong Peng, who caused SGP Li Sze Ming with 5 Fouls in 8 minutes. Goh Wen Shun has 5 pts 6 rebs and 2 blks in only 13 minutes of playing, mostly on 4th quarter.

Dai Rong Peng led Macau with 24pts and 14rebs, Xie Hangrong with 17pts and 9rebs.

Singapore will have a tougher match next week, as they will face the Tournament Host, India.

U21 SGP - S16 - Ang Kok Loong : Overrated ?

13...14...8... These are points racked by Ang on his last three international games.

Known as a sharpshooter, Ang Kok Loong were showing promising flashes on last year scrimmage games after Consolation Tournament which has made staff believes he could lead on Asian Tournament.

But his performance at game one vs Iran says everything. Aside of his 4/15 FG, combined by Iran's Tirdad Kolahkaj heroics, Ang also commited a fatal mistakes near end of the game, which he naively fouled Kolahkaj when launching a midrange jumpshots as the horn sounded. Kolahkaj sink one of two FT, Iran runaway with the dramatic W 86-85.

Singapore second match vs Taiwan were still forgiveable, but Ang is getting worse and confused when facing U21 Macau team, which throw some physicals defender on him which he only able to yield 8pts.

Next game, SGP will face a crucial games versus Tournament host India. Will AKL able to step up?
