I followed college basketball more in MJ days and only watched NBA playoffs. Those were some great Chicago teams. This year's team is well balanced and Rose is truly exceptional. Boozer is also a beast, if used right and Noah has such enthusiasm. I think Miami's weakness will be exposed as they get deeper. Boston will be hurt without a good center.

My hope is that New Orleans beats LA. A great player like Chris Paul can take over in a single series even if not over the entire postseason. The Spurs seem to be injured out of the playoffs and who knows what's wrong with the Mavs.

You so remember MJ with NC jersey! I do... (I think we are not 18ers...).

Chicago is a well organized team, with a superb defense where Noah can do his best. Miami can be hit, and hope so. I don't see Boston as a winner, but always better to avoid them (Boston-Miami is a good fight...to Chicago).

If Paul could defeat LA, that would be a great thing to Bulls.

Even before! Larry and Magic in their last college game.

Ok I am impressed that is even before my time. But I do remember the Bulls fighting against the Pistons and losing year after year.

I had played basketball all through my school days but this was before ESPN and cable in general. So my first exposure to American basketball was when I went to college. MJ started his college career just after I started graduate school.

I can remember the first matches broadcasted in Italy, LA vs Celtics, McHale, Parish, Bird, Magic, Kareem Skyhook, ...

I remember a counterattack by Lakers in a probably game 5, dominated by Boston at that time, the speaker (Dan Peterson, coach of most famous Italian team with some post in NBA) yielled "And Cooper reopens the game" as Magic passed to Cooper, who stopped at 3pts mark,... and then scored after speaker told it: he terrific 3pts shooter! LA won the series.

I hope, from the bottom of my heart, to see the Bulls win. They are very impressive and balanced as I like. Rose, Deng & Korver (outside) and Boozer & Noah (Inside)... They rock it all.

Hope to see the Lakers win at the western conference... especially after seeing Kobe Bryant dunk on the head of Emaka Okafor! That was naughty!

Does anyone else think that Jason Terry is being paid by the Heat? It's a tribute to the greatness of Dirk that the Mavs won despite the best efforts of Terry and to a lesser extent Kidd to give the game away.

No, but how bad was that last defence of the game, double teaming someone without the ball while Mario Chalmers was left totally alone in the corner for a "shootaround" three?

And don't forget the play of about a minute before where Terry was on the wrong end of the court and had to sprint down to cover his man.
