Sounds like a fair trade although the Suns might have to give the clips some "cash considerations".

lol A lopez for Griffin deal would take a boat load more than "cash considerations" That said i'd love to see Blake playing for PHoenix, NY or Golden State - he'd set the all time season high alley-oop record for sure!

I have just returned to this thread after a couple of weeks to find (sadly) that the Darwin v Bible topic dissipated so easily. Such a controversial topic but such an important one. Ah well...I might just add, Naker, I'm 100% with Pete on this one. I'm also an avid Dawkins fan; have most of his work. When I'm not reading Jung (another inspirational hero for me) I'm revisiting Dawkins. Book, DVD or internet interviews...all good!

...following on from the Dragonlance chronicles and series, I emerged myself into Feist and Eddings many years ago now. Pug (Milamber) was a character I still recall vividly and with effection. Eddings likewise had such a memorable character in Spahawk! I still have somewhere, boxed from many moves, both of these authors' series. Ah, the memories...

What would life be like without such powerful fantasy writers...

As someone who strongly believes that what we read, what we read as children then teenagers, impacts heavily on the adult we become. These fantasy books played a significant role in shaping my own life in many ways.

I would think that I am not the only one who shares these thoughts???

Sorry for misdirecting the 'basketball books' thread here, Noodles, but what can I say...

Hey Mate,
It only dissipated easily because the OP asked us to stay on topic :P Otherwise we would have happily continued.
What do you mean by "with Pete" on this one? Pete agreed with me that the bible was a more important book than darwin's book. :P

My mistake. Ignore my comments. It is such a passionate topic for me that it is easy to forgot that we all play BB to have fun, not discuss heavy subjects that lessen the enjoyment of BB. My apologies, Naker.

But is basketball an evolving sport or did Dr Naismith create it in 7 days and it has all been following his immaculate plan ever since? This is a basketball issue. I know what Dawkins would say about the selfish meme that is Russel Westbrook.

hey just wanted to say

Jordan would NEVER score 8 points in an NBA finals game, no matter how well Scottie was playing.
Not hating on Lebron, but just saying you know...
