I see where you are going with this....

I thought my week was tough but now I see you are playing Yoks at home on Tuesday..... now if I was Yoks & this might sound perverse, I'd bow out the cup.... try take me at home & then CT you away....

I bet Taiyo would take 2 league wins & a cup defeat right now... if you were in his position, wouldn't you?

I can't wait to see the new transfers hit the wire... I'm sure someone is going to splash some cash :D

Like I said Sharman.....Don't hurt you trainees...Do what BC Tooros used to do...Out at the final 4 so you get a three game week.

Did Wolph write this for you? Complete rubbish advice. What? If Liverpool were 8 points adrift the top team and in the FA cup final, you would want them to throw the cup game to focus on the league game. That is B.S.. Yoks is 3 wins from the BB3...Sure he is going to make the playoffs but then he has to win 4 games to get to the BB3 and with HCA in the playoffs not assured and a buying deadline in place( In the cup you can buy players until 6:45, 15 minutes before the start.).The easiest route to the BB3 is through the cup. You know this and everyone knows this.
For me...The cup is the most important...The playoffs are still 2 months away..I would take the game I thought I could win( for him Tuesday) and then CT the cup..hope for the Swoosh/Isehara winner and then playoff normal in the semi's.....Win in the CUP and there is still hope for good draw...lose and go home....easy choice to make I think..

OK!! I'm done with this conversation...I am telling it like it is...you guys are in a battle of head games.
Thursday Saturday, you pull off beating 2 of the top teams in the Big8, now that would be a feat!!!! Good Luck!

I think you made a mistake....you mean tomorrow and Saturday I play the two top teams in the Big 8..
and believe me..he CTs, he wins...plain and simple...

Well since my last comments only attracted a comment from YC (who has zero interest in the cup) & combined with the fact I've got no chance or interest in splurging my remaining cash for a BB3 assault, I'll declare my interest in the cup this season.

Lets have some fun in the next couple of weeks!

Nippon National Tournament Great 8 handicap

Stunners @ Northern Kyushu Ramen Kings

As much as a lopsided game as it appears on paper, there are 2 things that must be considered. 1) As Stunners makes his run in the B3, he must conserve enthusiasm, meaning more or less that this is a guaranteed normal. 2) This suspected normal will be played on the road.

That considered, look for Stunners superior roster to struggle in the first half and open the game up in the mid to late 3rd q.

Stunners - 13.5

Sapporo Fighters @ Sharman Globetrotters

Rematch (39847801) of Sharman's only loss of the season. Certainly Sharman will look to avenge this loss. With sharman also looking to advance in the B3, one can only wonder how much he is debating a CT to ensure a win and also prove a point. Sharman does have superior players, but the question is how does he use them, and how hard he asks them to play.

Should be a relative close game, look for Sharman to open up a lead early and for Sapporo to close within 10 at some point in the final quarter before Sharman puts the game away.

Sharman - 15.5

Swoosh @ Isehara Pistons.

Isehara has slowly closed the gap on the perennial Great 8 power. Isehara hoist the game will be a big boost. Add the fact that Isehara is field a more expensive roster, makes one believe it is his turn. Will Izaman be able to use his charisma and savvy to outdo his Great 8 counterpart...this game smell ripe for an upset.

This will be a game that goes down to the wire. The edge Swoosh would get as a veteran is offset by going on the road for this game.

pick'em

Yokozuna @ Fire Country Trail Blazers

Admit it. This is the game you wanted to see. A Clash of Big 8 Titans. All (http://www.buzzerbeater.com/community/rivalry.aspx?team1=...) signs point to a FCTB win.

But not so fast my friend. The key to this game will be Yokozuna's training up until this game. It he has fixed the problems that have resulted in 4 straight losses to FCTB, he may be in business. Its seems that indeed FCTB might just have Yokozuna's number.

But my gut tells me Yokozuna has a little trick or two up his sleeve. the play at the SF spot will decide this game.

FCTB -1.5

Somebody let me a hold a no. 2 pencil cause they testin' me.
