how does that work? i wouldnt mind being an NT coach for a minnow BB country.

i thought you had to be a manager within that country to even be considered a NT coach.

No I think there were several people that went for coaching jobs of tiny countries. Fanny went for Lubnin and abigfishy went for Barbados but neither got one of the 2 or 3 total votes in that country. Coachnoodles did a bit better and he got the job in Wales. Iwen is obviously running Australia so it is funny that in our PL we will have 3 National team managers.

That doesn't really surprise me...being a national coach really requires someone who is active. People here are SERIOUSLY active!

I never even heard of Lubnin, thats pretty harsh to miss out on that job hahah.

the issue with going for small countries jobs is that its usually hard to get votes.

the best you can do is leave a post in there countries forum in the nomination thread and hope they can understand you and actually make the effort to vote for you.

Yes in one of these small nations, Pakistan, one of the ones I had been watching and considering going for myself, there was a clear best candidate who had policies, plans, a staff, had posted all over the forums and would have ben fantastic was beaten by some random who just nominated and had a short speech that promised them top 50 in the world which was impossible. When there are only 3 or 4 people voting the results can be very random.

Yeah, in Ireland, which I follow (since I have an Irish guy), the guy who won didn't even post in the forums, compared to the guy who lost who was active, answered questions, and has been involved for the last 4 seasons. I don't get it.

Its all random.

Just like how lebanon took in a Aussie D4 team for its NT manager that subsequently went bot and they ended up having a bot manager

Yes and even here the random who didn't even post a speech got half a dozen votes. How? Sometimes democracy sucks. Bad news for Ireland.
