i am quite enjoying seeing how it plays out.

Fishy and Yoda always give div II some spotlight, so i thought it would be good to meet some of the Div III teams floating around

Yeah, Bainsy, I've been giving you a ball a day for a bit now. As akuma said, it's the thread worth reading. Not just because I have a representative from my league but because there are some great Div III teams in OZ and it will be very interesting to see who are still here when the dust settles post season...

There are a lot of talented div3 teams atm... its going to be a scary place soon not only in div2 but in the abbl as well with all these new enthusiastic div3 teams coming thru.

1 human year should do it... that all it takes to get to the abbl.

Well, I'm not one of those talented Div III teams...yet, but I'll be happy enough to be at the pointy end of a Div II league in a human year's time :-)

I too have no ounce of talent, but would like to be in the middle of div 2 in a year's time

yeah, after posting that I thought about the liklihood of being at the 'pointy end' of a Div II; I think somewhere in the 'middle' would be much more realistic.

Yoda sometimes gets to give the ABBL some spotlight. If somehow both Vios and I end up there next season and Sid Vicious is still there, watch out, it will be the most verbose ABBL ever.

I think last season the lucky fish did the division III elevator men as well.

What would be scary I think is that managers will continue to improve..
I remember when I first joined div 3, the champions of season 12 won with fairly small salaries...
Take a look now at the average salary it takes to win a div 3 championship...
Imagine how much it would take in a few seasons time..

It seems like the best strategy to take is to bide your time...save your cash...train your players... then place all your eggs in one basket and make a pounce for the championship in the classic "Win or Bust" move.

Remember I won III.6 with my best player being about $12k although there were teams with much higher salaried players.
