that might be enough to bankrupt me if the attendance penalty from demotion is all it's rumored to be.

Unfortunately, it looks like the the attendance penalty does, in fact, suck gopher gonads. Our luxury box and courtside seat prices are pretty similar, and you ended up selling about 20% fewer seats in those sections. If the numbers from buzzer manager are correct (the last attendance in league ,at least, since I know the others are wrong), you pulled in 60k less than everyone else last night, which also seems to be right around a 20% penalty. Hopefully you get a nice. long Cup run to help tide you over until the fans stop kicking your effigy in the balls.

My attendance numbers floored me. I expected a minimum of 10% more than what I saw. I expected a decrease, but this is absolute crap. I wasn't tanking and won half my games to end the season. I finally checked and my fan total is exactly 50% of what it was at the beginning of last season. I'm quite certain when you promote you don't double your fan base.
If fans don't start coming back or their excitement doesn't kick in fast, I'll be bankrupt by all star as I have those back to back road games twice before then.
Time will tell, but since I was actually competitive last season, if the fans don't recover fast this will be just another example that, financially, might as well bank money with low salary if your going to demote as you'll need the cushion for foolish monetary policy.

Not that it means anything, but going into the game my overall fan mood was 3 basketballs, or the same level after winning the last game of my nbba career to autodemote last season.

sense-making is low.

And yet we're always happy to have you visit.

I just am fortunate now that I finally broke the curse of having the three road games in a row at the start of interconference a few seasons back. I know I did for at least four or five seasons, and that sucked.

Dang. Nice game, Hrudey.

I thought I was going to come back there, in the end, or hold onto the lead, rather. Arg.
This season is not looking so good for the Grazers of the Sun.

I can't afford to train him anymore
150k is where it has to stop to make my payroll balanced

Same to you. I thought you were coming back too - when I lose the turnover battle and the offensive boards as badly as I did, it's rarely going to turn out well for me. I guess by out-Clogging the Clogs you inherited the bad luck I seemed to have at times last season, but maybe you'll get the lucky Cup run I had too to compensate.

Of course, my other concern at this point is that if I play Princeton and don't get a blowout, Shultz simply refuses to sit on the bench. 47 minutes last night, 46 last Friday in my PL game, it's really frustrating - his stamina's down to respectable. It's sad that I'd push a button right now to drop his stamina two levels and probably pay 100k to do so if I, you know, had that kind of money.
