Coach Miner has to be kicking himself for that wrong focus

Yeah that happened but I really botched a few things. Pointing at the GDP would be a disservice to how completely outclassed we were. And then tonight I got distracted and rolled out my default lineup. Not a good week and I have Serapo in the Cup to boot.

It was a good game, but I really blew it playing Emilian Lupulescu. I was hoping his raw stats would outweigh his game shape, which obviously wasn't the case. His injury in the last cup game really hurt my chances. I knew this season was going to be a grind. I am just thankful that I am not in the Great 8. You all almost pulled out a sweep last night.

Yep, was counting on you TIE against me, maybe even playing some bench guys in anticiaption of your cup game. Buried me with the default lineup!

To be fair, I think it was the right call to play Lupulescu. My team has just been stingy giving up points to the point guard position lately. I'm sure his skills impacted the game in ways that a lesser player couldn't.

Was a good game though for sure. Neck and neck for majority of the game.

As we turn our attention to the cup race - 1 game in particular raises my eyebrow

Gaeta vs Lions their must only be ONE! I am not sure how each team has planned as they approach this match-up on their schedule but it should be a dozy. Money vs Seeding or Money vs More Money are good questions that will be answered.

Although I am not sure about BCB's opponent, all others should have an easier time with their regular line-up. Your thoughts?

*sigh*

I did it again. 4 guys over 100 minutes. Training, what training? I should probably change my default lineup until I get my act together geez

Yeah, I wasn't too happy with how my minutes were managed this week either. The rotations used in my first game caught me off guard - first time seeing such a substitution pattern.. Had to ensure a victory in cup, but probably could have played a slightly weaker lineup to soften the minutes. That being said, even in the blow out cup game, I still had two starters go for 30+ minutes which is surprising to me.

Considered training game shape but decided not to. Thought this would finally be the week that Caldwell gets a pop. Apparently not. Not one pop this entire season. Yay.

Now I get to deal with crap gs and probably elimination from the cup.

Well as we head into a much needed All Star Break to heal those nagging injuries and get our Cup Line-Ups straight. Let's examine the match-ups this week: Blue 10 Red 28 Not a contest anymore

Saprissa visits the Technicals both are in need of a win.

In the battle of the animals The Lions look to show the Rhino's who is king of this jungle.

Championship Preview #1's go at it. The Surging Foots vs A declining Bucks team whom might have a riot if they lose 3 in a row especially at home!

The Butchers look for another victim as they face The Closers. Will they at the home of the Closers?

The Pain will give a headache to Bananahorns but just how much? +33 1/2

Gaeta will try to get out of the cellar while BCB looks to have settle in the bottom regulation seed.

With two 6 n 6 teams the Saints will visit the Swamp. Now that the Cup is over for the Swamp they will look focus on more this regular season line-ups.

And My Mavs hope to avoid the headbutt of the Hammerheads this week in Farm Show Arena.

Good Luck to All

Full disclosure? I got hooked on the re-release of World of Warcraft Classic about a month ago. I'll log in after work and suddenly it's 8:04, the games are started, and all I did was look at the economy page and my fan survey. I almost did it again right now but I set my alarm to remind me.

Didn't expect a loss in this one. Still can't really make sense of it to be honest. I guess that game shape from last week hurt me even more than I thought. Rough.
