I think India will be a lot easier as there will probably be a maximum of 21 divisions to be scouted and possibly less, I haven't checked yet to see how many division IIIs have real players but if the maximum players was 200 that means there may be real players up to roughly about division III.10. The good news I am on holidays so can do the scouting on Monday or Tuesday after the draft which should help whoever is running the team next season.

The bad news I don't know when the elections finish and the new boss is installed because we may need to save a bunch of players the first week. We should really figure out if it is 6 or 7 weeks. Maybe I will look up some teams now and do a study. A pity we didn't do this last week - but probably finding the oldest inactive but non-botted team should tell us anyway.

Do the bots also get the draftees??? If they do, are those draftees also allowed to be part of the NT?

The election is on thr 18th it says in the help forum. I'm not sure when the managers can run as the candidates though.

It will all happen on the 18th after the offseason processing. The BBs have also said that the site will be down for several hours so it could be Tuesday your (or my) time. Yes sadly bots do draft players. While they do draft randomly they still do end up with lots of good players because they usually are drafting before the humans. Lets say there are 15 bots and 1 human in a league and 1 great draft pick. Even if the human has the pick listed first on their board there will be a 15/16 chance that he will be gone before he gets his pick and often it is hard to pick the best player through your scouting.

Sadly anyone picked by a bot is lost to us forever. However if it is an inactive team and we put the player on the NT before they go bot then happy days!

Oh...damn we have too many bots. the BB should have done the promotion just before the offseason processing so that some potential prospects are drafted by the inactive teams and before they go bot, we can put them on the NT :P hehe life is not that easy now is it?

I hope there are some good prospects in this season's draft and hopefully drafted by those teams that do know how to train, or at least just planning to sell so that other managers can train. My draft seems to absolutely suck this year (last year too). Since I'll be the 14th pick, I don't think i'll get anybody worth training...

April 18 (Mo): U21Elections begin late tonight (EST). Please refer to the U21 "Election Central" page for further information about the deadlines to register and vote.

April 26 (Tu): U21 Elections conclude at the end of the day (EST).

The current U21 manager, LA-höfðingi, will have to assign players to be saved for the first week. I think he mentioned that he will be running for U21 manager in his home country so hopefully he can still attend to the Indian team for that week. If not, #23 can assign them to the senior team.

It looks like 7 financial updates is the timeframe for inactive teams to go bot. http://www.buzzerbeater.com/league/12596/leagueInfo.aspx?... For the first two teams on this page, the 6th financial update has passed and they are still listed as active.

well I have clear some now and will clear up some more space later this weak...but we need to work togheter to find players that is worth it to be saved. everybody should bring there suggest

I tried to search the help folders but it is buggy and I just get the "oops" message.

Ok working, acording to Naker, Mod Crazy Eye, ausie dude, LA-nickleon, LA-docend24 and others it is 6 financial updates but they could all just be quoting each other. I think the trick is it is financial updates without logging in. So if you logged in today the 12th and never again next financial update (Monday April 18th)wouldn't be your first week, it would be the one after (Monday April 25th) that would be your first financial update without logging in.

So the scary news is if we need to save every player on teams from 7/3 or earlier that is a massive 16 teams. If it is just the teams from the 28th it is a lot better. In a week from now we will know how this works. It is clear that there is no team older than the 28th of Febuary and there are a lot from that day. Whoever starts up new teams was busy that day and sent out all the enails, the new players logged in, had a look and a lot never came back.
