I find it a bit strange you single out one specific player as having an anemic game after (at PF) 11 points on 5-11 shooting with 15 rebounds.. when another player in the same game (C) has 2 points on 0-8 shooting with only 10 rebounds. Thats probably just me who finds that odd though.

Nah, me too ;-) I'm guessing he meant Dobson played cack, 'cos them there's pretty good stats for a journeyman like McLeod ;-)

:)

Sorry to single out your guy. Thing is I was rather worried about the PF in the game as my first choices were not available :(

You are right, he wasn't the worst at all... Still I wish I had more PF chioces...

A very strange match.. starting pf played only 9 minutes for us 0_o and the worst player became the top-scorer.

And the bench players have almost lost the match, that was won after 3quarters.

Yeah, we had 2 bad losses against teams rated better than us. It's unfortunate, with a bit of luck we should have won one of them...

Looking forward we have more approachable challenges starting with New Zealand at home. However, that is no walkover :(

They have been doing extremely well in the tournament (record of 3-1, 29th place) and put up very good rating, far above what you'd expect by a team rated 70th in the world.

Their roster boasts the usual monster centers. They seem to be weaker on the outside, but when you look at the ratings you see that's not true, very good outside offense.

A tricky one, happy to play this at home!

Wish us luck :)

We are facing New Zealand in 5 minutes... Come and support England!

We have a crippled team unfortunately, we are missing the great Barnett Singleton (4701385) and Adrian Donovan (4701467) two rock solid guards which never fail to impress and David Marsh (833881) a NT regular and one of our most experienced centers.

Crippled or not, we plan to win and win well after the last 2 disappointing performances!

Nice win against my boys :-)

I know how the injury bug hurts, we had 4 injuries last week, and my SG went down on Saturday but yeah I knew we didn't have much of a realistic chance against you. Well played. Maybe I'll get revenge with my club team in our PL in a few weeks ;-)

Good luck the rest of the way!

Thanks! Good luck to you as well, you have a pretty good record so far perhaps we'll meet again :)

The game is here: (10258)

I owe an apology for mistreating Hunter McLeod (4701301) before, he played only 17 minutes this game and again he posted good stats including 12 pts!

We are now 29th on the table. That means we are still on the right track (HCA at the next stage goes to the first 32 teams)

Our next match is away against Andorra currenltyl 69th on the table with a 1-4 record. On paper a match that we should ace, but I learned the hard way (read last WC, you remember Cyprus?) that there are not easy matches!

They have very good inside scoring (sensational) and they beat Singapore recently.
