The all-star break is here, and the Idiots are hosting!

Any surprises this season? I didn't expect Wavy Gates to be undefeated. But they've got a big TV game against the Ostriches after the break.

Also the Great 8 seems to be the better division again. We've got two teams with a winning record and positive PD, but projected for a relegation series.

I’ve been trying to address these late game collapses with more experience, so we will see what happens. I was about to get sick seeing what looked like another collapse last game.

Transfer Market Update – May 21, 2025
Reported by BB Insider

Smallfries Make Another Splash
The Smallfries continue their spending spree, acquiring veteran shooting guard Yiorgos Dellistathis for [$350,000]. Known for his savvy shot selection and calm under pressure, Dellistathis brings another scoring option to the Fries’ already potent lineup. With Neside recently added, it’s clear Smallfries are loading up for a title run.

Kings Knights Get Tougher Inside
The Kings Knights added size and experience in the form of power forward Ivo Cosmede, signed for [$555,900]. Cosmede, a bruising vet with a strong interior presence, is expected to shore up a defense that’s struggled to protect the paint in key moments. With the Great 8 heating up, the Knights are bolstering their front line at just the right time.

Franchise Shakeup in Kingsland
In a surprising twist, the Knights have placed longtime star Jeremy Le Lay on the transfer block. A mainstay of the program since Season 56 and their very first trainee, Le Lay has been the face of the franchise for nearly a decade.
The front office released a statement hoping fans understand the decision, calling it “a necessary step as we go all-in on our title pursuit.” Still, this move will no doubt stir emotion in the fanbase.

What’s Next?
With Smallfries pushing chips to the middle of the table and the Knights reshuffling their core, the Season 68 title race is wide open. Will other contenders like Wavy Gates, Flying Ostriches, or Wasted Potential respond before the deadline?

Stay tuned. Things are heating up.

Three Point Shot Competition on All-Star Day (May 21, 2025):

Prediction: Andy Olsen Takes the Crown
With a deadly reputation from deep and fresh off a jaw-dropping 9-three, 46-point performance against SomeTeam, Andy Olsen (Kings Knights) enters this contest with momentum, swagger, and a flamethrower of a shooting hand. His quick release and limitless range make him the man to beat.

Top Challenger: Irenijus Grikpedis (Wasted Potential)
Grikpedis has the clean mechanics and ice-cold demeanor that thrives in contests like this. If Olsen slips, Grikpedis could easily steal it with consistency and rhythm.

Dark Horse: Jim Broughton (Wavy Gates)
Don’t sleep on Broughton—he’s streaky but explosive. If he catches fire early, he could shock the field with a high round.

Final Pick: Andy Olsen wins it in the final round over Grikpedis with a score of 27–24.

Keep your eyes on the clock and the corner racks—this one’s going to be a shootout.

Ed wasn't aware he got traded from the Idiots

Looks like the Big 8 won the ASG 175-152, with some help from their "wondrous" coach rating.

Smallfries need Gameshape to improve badly or I’m going to be just like the Lakers - over bloated salary with no results.

Yeah I didn't understand that couching rating. Also, I don't understand the 3 point competition. 2nd year in a row Andy Olsen gets same score as another guy and does not advance to second round... What kind of bs is this???
