I think we end up having the weirdest games when we play. You had a single player with as many steals as your team had assists, which has got to be some sort of record. Each of us had one big man who brought his hardhat to work on the boards and another who decided that he didn't really feel like rebounding - Busch with 25, Carver with 6 for me and Mobile with 24 and Bogunovic with 6 for you. And forcing me into 17 turnovers is unbelievable - and it felt like more than that because I think there were 12 or 13 just in the first half. Crazy action all around. I hate playing your team, and that's probably the biggest compliment I can give.

I'm 1-0 in Utopia. I get to play Jelme tonight in a game we're both TIEing and playing backups because a botless Cup is a sad thing.

My scrub team (didn't bid over $7k on anyone) won last night by 50 points with less effort. (116-66) I'm the highest scoring team in the league!

Of course the Utopia cup team I'm playing just bought a $30k C & spent over $100k on him... Wonder if I can beat a mostly default team with 1 monster C?

Thanks for the compliment. i gotta say that the loss at home to my bitter rival will hurt my fan survey almost as much as my pride. I knew going in it was going to be a battle, it always is. It was a crazy game for sure. i think I need to make some changes to my team this season, I just haven't decided who to change yet. Being $250,000 in debt doesn't help either.

I think you should rebuild with the rest of us ;). That way it can still be a competitive league while we all make some money.

I just decided I need a youth movement, and money. I just put two starters on the transfer list.

I figure this is high time to put together a list of which team is the most powerful:

From worst to best with seeding:
8 Owls: In a tough battle with tictac for worst team.
7 Tictac: one good player makes them better than owls
8 Clerics: with enough cash to win a title, they decide instead to go on a rebuilding mission
6 Smallfries: they look to be in roster dump mode.
7 Warriors: Just dumped a ton of cash into their arena. Not a bad idea considering their situation. Even if they have to play relagation games, they are gonna face one of the three tankers from the Big 8.
6 Mcfatties: I don't have the cash to try to do anything. Hell I am having enough trouble trying to buy an advanced trainer with career extension for my oldies.
5 Pistons: Based on their economic situation they are looking to reload their roster.
5 Thumpers A pure LI team with some strong inside play. Will battle the Rabbits for 4th place
4 Rabbits: They look to be battling to make the playoffs. They have a strong LI based team.
4 Mammals: They added to their roster in late March. They run an unpredictable/balanced offense. But LI looks to be their bread/butter.
3 Lethargy: Last season they seemed to had planned to beat down some Eagles. If they sell a few of their 40 odd players they may be able to contend for a playoff spot.
3 Snowbirds: Losing to the McFatties in their first game in Div II is not a good sign. However, they could easily make the finals.
2 Yuck: They just reloaded their roster. They look strong. They probably have some extra cash to buy another player.
1 Clogs: Somehow they made the finals last season. If they find some better starters they could be well on their way to another trip.
2 GS Warriors: They have a tough inside based team. They added some meat to their starting rotation last week.
1 Silverbacks. Hard to bet against a team that has done this: Silverbacks were crowned champions of league USA NBBA or this: Silverbacks won the USA Tournament

I must admit...the first week just made the situation at the top more cloudy. Lots of balance.

Whereever I was rated, it's too high - 5 minutes in against a bot and I have more turnovers than points.

The one young stud I was going to get to start rebuilding just got bought buy another team. He emailed me and had asked the manager of the guy to list him so he could by, so my nice self let him.

I may be forced to rebuild for the near term instead of long term. So you know what that probably means....

Jason Koenig Mc Fatties 2 $ 56 228

Screw you too bot!

I guess playing patient while making sure I win the game was too much to ask for.

Looks like the 34 year old will not be getting a chance to show if he can get a pop in rebounding...

Hmm wonder if I should sell him...

Screw it:
Jason Koenig Mc Fatties $ 500 000 $ 56 228

I think shikago's experience would tell that training is negative on a 34 year old. Though I don't think the Lethargy have had anyone that young in a while.
