What swoosh post were you reading?

The one immediately preceding mine, addressed to me. I hope to god it was tongue-in-cheek!

OH but to clarify I do think perhaps Malice overreacted. I doubt it was tongue in cheek. Alhtough a bit condescending Swoosh was just trying to be nice.

Covering bases there Wolph?
I'm not calling anyone, on anything... unless it's specifically directed to me. Then don't expect me to bob my head at platitudes.

I do think he was being at least a bit t-i-c.
Anyway, not sure how I overreacted. Simply being a realist. I disagreed with Swoosh is all, and in all honesty the BEST thing for my squad is to get about moving on post-cup.
STOKED I got as far as I did... really happy with it. Would've liked a few 'real' wins, but hey: I'll take what I can get!

I think the point he was trying to make was, Don't blow your team up for one cup game. All of us have been smacked out of the cup in the early rounds before. I also think the Man up comment was more are less, Give it a go...I don't know what the hell Wolph was talking about Big Brother but I re-read his post and didn't find anything rude in it...That is my honest opinion.

Wow....Sharman going to Swoosh....this is going to be good.
My game is a so-so..I won't be overlooking fumoffu platoon...His team is for real.
zenigata gangs vs. FCB could be a real good game...If FCB plays him for real then FCB is in the Final 4 but if he does that TIE training games...then we could be looking at an upset..
Kuzu is still around...not enough time for him to fix his GS's...could be easy pickings in the Final 4....

Morning all,
Sorry - bit quiet this week, I was in Manila for a couple of days (most of which stuck in traffic or torrential rain leading to subsequent brown-outs).

Well I didn't expect to win my BB3 game.. that was a surprise.... i also didn't expect to stay so close to Uchicha on Tues... I had that down as a loss but looking at the fact that Chang got 22 mins.. maybe that could've ended different. Didn't expect Swoosh to smash Stunners... had I known that he'd inflict that sort of punishment I wouldn't have had to CT him on the Saturday!!

Anyway, onwards and upwards... I see that I have another away draw in the cup... worse still the best team outside myself still left in.... worse still the only other team this week that has STO - so yes there will be fireworks and I guess the remaining 6 teams are really licking their lips now and would fancy picking either of us off in the semi's.

Its not quite a cup run until you meet Sharman.

I guess its well that it comes to this. I will say this, facing Sharman is not nearly as scary as it was 2/3 seasons ago. Me, YC and Stunners have narrowed the gap.

Leading me to why its good to be in the Great 8 with Sharman. All of our playoffs against Sharman are a one game throw of the dice. beating Sharman 2 out of 3 is pretty tough. But one game? you never quite know.

Of course im out gunned, but i do have Sharman and his BB3 run in my favor. I pretty much know Sharman cant CT me and then recover in time for his BB3 the following week...or he can risk a CT and end up with a lower seed in the bb3.

Even with 5 wins, Sharman still sits as a 14 seed. That means 1 loss could drop him all the way out of the tourney...or put him at the bottom facing a top team on the road the first round.

So which is it going to be Flame throwers? A full effort at my house to risk a true shot at winning the BB3, or a normal on the road against the number 4 team in Nippon?

I dont have the BB3 "problem" yet, but i can imagine the calculation and double checks Sharman is facing now.

And for the rest of you guys claiming im talking down doing the big brother stuff, ill quote Jay Z...
