I played them in the league games, they were good enough to beat my crappy opposition, and then fired them before the financial update. It is cheaper than keeping them. I'd buy a new set each week, my only search criteria was that they had respectable defense and $1000 max bid, and I'd only buy guys with respectable GS or better. I only paid for my trainees, about 12k a week :)

I had to buy some half-decent guys for the playoffs though

COOOOOL :) That's what I should have done when I was in div II. That must have saved a lot of money!!!

All of those examples were for training JS for guards (two position training). If you want to check the site yourself have a look here:

http://www.buzzerbeater.hu/forum/viewtopic.php?f=22&t...

I have always been really bad at predicting pops and this site gives me at least some hint as to who is worth training and how long I can expect until I get a pop. Once you have had one pop in a skill you can start getting much more accurate in your next prediction.

Thanks. It looks useful. I'll register and play around with it later.

Do you regret selling off your star trainee?

You mean this guy (18888130)? He came with my team. He was 18 for about 2 days, then the new season ticked over. His skills weren't that great, I figured training some lower potential 18 year olds would be a better option.

My friend referred me to the game and said that it was best to join right before the draft. If I had signed up a few days later and gotten the same team then I would have a monster 18 year old!

WoooooooooW! You guys have been making a lot of noise around here! That's very cool. I don't think like being able to read all the posts, but I'll be taking part of the discussions from now on ;-).

Is Iwen part of your potential staff yodabig?

I have a proposal to make! =P.

As everyone knows or must know, I'm not running as GM of the NT next season. But I still want to take part in India's development. So, that's the reason why I wish to be part of your staff yodabig! I wish to get involve and prepare India's future in long term, and the U21 are what makes a better future on BuzzerBeater. I can scout, analyse, assume a PR manager role... It is up to you ;-).

Well as for now I am not (and am not allowed) to state my intentions about anything. However Monday is the start of a new week and perhaps there will be some interesting news then. So can you ask me the same question again on monday?

One thing I can comment on is you are automatically the senior NT coach next season because all appointments are for two seasons. One season the NT coach is appointed (for two seasons) and the next season the U21 coach is appointed (for two seasons).

Yeah, I know about that. Don't worry, be happy =P.

I'm in charge of the NT for 2 seasons. My assignement will reach its end when season 17 will point its nose. But my desire to contribute to India's community goes far beyond seasons. That's the reason why I wanted to ensure that doors will still be open for me ;-).

@Tungi
I don't think that a NT general manager can be proficient more than 2 seasons. It requires a lot of work to try and motivate people & getting the best results possible. I don't want to lie to India, so I prefer contributing differently. But who knows what will happen in the future =).

No I thought you were not going to be the manager of India NT next season because of what you've written.
