In that case, it was a good game. I've never done this well in the 4 seasons so I didn't expected a win really. I am happy with my guards performances that match and they are worth the money.

@MattRulez, I am not scouting and pulling in 80k a week if you really want to know whether I am broke or not.

I'm scouting and pulling in $260k a week, just thought I'd share that with you Datz. ;-)

Looking like the favourite with a good win against The Warriors too mate, keep up the good work and we just might see you in div II next season!

Very quiet this year. I've been lurking the forums daily, but nothing to reply to.

Looks like the red half is smashing the blue half this season. I knew the top 2 would do alright, but there's a bit of depth there too.

yep, like always, the red half is leading the league again. We're leading because we've been here longer than most lol.
there're quite a few transfers which indicates the league is indeed active but still no communication on this forum.

alright, looks like only a handful of users are contributing to this forum. So in return I want to write a short description for each of the teams that contribute here. Please excuse my English as it wasn't my strongest subject back in school.

I know VM is trying to be mysterious but his games speak louder than he does. With young guns outside and inside, all of his 5 starters are able to contribute on the board making VM to be one tough cookie to predict this season yet...

The Warriors, full time Uni students and part time NBA players, are still struggling to adjust themselves to DIV3 income. They may need to cut the roster short. In term of training and strength, similar to the GSW, they've got two of three young stars, 1 at PG which commands the army (stephen Curry) and monta ellis at SG and an old version of david lee in the middle. As we all know so well, GSW is not known for their defense but their athletic ability to outscore all their opponents.

The J Man, aka Lord of HellFire. LoH's 3rd spot was quickly taken from them due to shortage in players and fatigue. After the loss of Laurent Sauvage, the team has no one to look to for scoring. The LoH manager sold his soul to the devil, infact he might be the devil. The J man is actually pushing his team to their limits, forcing each players to play atleast 100 minutes a week. If you think slave driving in China is bad, wait until you see LoH.

to be continued...

Mangoloids, aka mango tango is a football team who dared to venture to basketball for different thrills. They started their basketball careers in div4.12 and were crowned champions in season 12. After promotion to div3.2 Mangoloid learned that it would take much more to be the best but they did not falter. The mangoloids quickly rose amongst their conference and stole the 4th play off spot from Chomps in season 13. Now 5 weeks into season 14, the mangoloids are firmly leading the conference with a 8-2 record. This team has many young potential players and with the right trainings and proper financial management, they will soon be one of the more dominant team in the league.

the be continued.... mattrulez is next. I've been working and haven't had time to check out BB that much.

Hi guys, i havent been writing anything in this forum as of yet, but would like to contribute. My team is in its third full season now and are coming along quite nicely, after going underfeated in my second season in Div 4, i was bought back to earth with a big thud last season when promoted to Div 3 and even had to play off in a relegation game.

To me it looks like the red side of the draw is much stronger than the blue, and i think the first three teams in the red would easily take care of any team in the other half of the draw, i am not bagging the blue side, i am just highlighting how strong the first three teams are. I also think that DFBS is almost a certainty to take out the title this season, but you never know funny things can happen.

It looks like my team are in a battle for the fourth spot in the blue, but whoever makes it to the playoffs will be smashed by DFBS.

If anyone disagrees with anything i have said, i would like your opinion.

Also, can anyone tell me how to train gaurds to improve their perimeter defense?

Welcome to the forum.

If you want to train D. One position train your PGs and train Pressure. That's pretty much all I've been doing lately.

Welcome to the forum Slats! I am glad that you posted something! I've seen you often on the chat as well as Mango Tango!
Thanks for the faith, I'd like to believe I am the strongest but we all know, "over confidence" is a weakness and things aren't apparent at this time yet. After ASW is when most teams go shopping for new players.

can anyone tell me how to train gaurds to improve their perimeter defense?

Pressure is perimeter defense for guards. It's the hardest to train because it is the slowest. From my experience, 19 - 20 yo, 185cm - 190cm tall, takes atleast 2.5 weeks to train OD with 2 positions, playing 48+ minutes each.
