get yourself some cheap, but malicious players, like Matt Deladedova or Kelly Olynyk.

sort of a Plan B strategy: if you can't beat 'em, then take 'em out.


But I don't want to beat them! I live in fear that my attempts at getting Wray to score as many points as possible might eventually screw up and actually cause me to win a game. That might be something for next season or the one after when I start working on my base layer of creamy outside shooting goodness. Or outside defense goodness. Or driving goodness. Or whatever it is I end up deciding to do.

Wray actually did make it pretty close against my bench and my uber scrubs back when I was still in the cup.
Had you won, we both would have been upset.

You've got a tough team there. Without my garbage time scoring barrage, I would have lost that game by 30.

I was a little surprised as well. While I was busy last week being a terrible U21 manager, I forgot to set a lineup for my scrimmage and everyone got in bad GS. Last hurrah for the core of my team!

That's kind of cool, actually. They put on a great last game for the fans.
Your PF was everywhere. He picked up some fouls, but it seemed like he was effectively contesting shots from most of my players.

Normally I'd also be quick with a +1, but shikago and I have this arrangement where if the post doesn't include a reference to some 90s songstress, it doesn't garner my vote. Though given the amount of enjoyment I've gotten from shikago's posts and the number of +1s I've given, it's probably time for me to loosen those standards slightly to try to bring balance to the force and all that Anakin goodness.

For the first time all season Kentucky decides not to train a guy & goes with their A-lineup. (including the monster $225k C) And even puts in extra effort.

Kind of weird. Considering they went so far as throwing their cup game & didn't exactly give it their all in their last TV game either.
Oh well

I could've at least thrown the game had i know & trained Pierre Lamar in outside shooting for team, or something. sad face


Ugh, now he just injured my best player too. Time to go listen to brokeNCYDE and write sad poetry in my LiveJournal.

well that didn't go as expected.
Best bigman injured early & starting SF out too... so coach puts in a $4k scrub at PF. And if that's not bad enough Pierre Lamar (35116603) was briefly on the floor at the end of regulation (in a tie game!) and in OT! Yet the $4k scrub at PF somehow put up a 9.5 rating & was part of winning overtime 20-6. Go figure.

Well that's too much excitement for one night. Whoever I'm playing next... I'm throwing the game (for real). Try not to foul out Pierre Lamar if you can.
