Some Canadian manager I think is looking to pick him up. He is a safe pick for merchandising as he will be the backup all season, no real threats to his position.

Sammons, 19 year old, 7 ft, all-time great, is up for sale. I don't know what he started out like, but looks like he didn't get trained much last year. With some proper training he could quickly get back on track and be that high potential C the National team is looking for!

Sadly, he was one positioned on his outside skills all season for S18.

He is actually a lot better now than he was when he was drafting. And would you rather train his primaries through the roof to start and train his guard skills when he is 20 or 21 years old or get the primaries out of the way early? Seeing the quality of bigs on the U21 in the past, he could get two full of seasons of training and maybe sneak on the U21?

Preferably someone will see him like this and make a commitment to just make him a NT'er? Asking a lot, but dare to dream!

I would've rather seen more of a mix of inside and outside training. He obviously still needs outside training, but my personal opinion based on training a couple high potential bigs from the beginning is that that is best chipped away at year by year. I did the same thing with Hall, training him almost exclusively outside for almost two seasons and in hindsight don't think it was necessarily the right move.

That said, the new training algorithm purportedly awards more balanced players with a slight bonus (something I've seen with Hall's training actually speeding up a bit), so perhaps he was right to train as he did and I've over-stated my disappointment. Doesn't really matter now, I guess - somebody with a good trainer pick him up!
