FINAL REPORT
The eagerly anticipated final between two of England's longest serving members was finally here with both sides in search of their first tournament crown. The game began at blistering pace with both sides offence's lighting up the floor with Los Mikitos edging the first quarter by a score of 36-37. The pace couldn't be maintained in the second quarter but both teams continued to exchange blows with the scores always close with the scores at 59-56 at the half time interval. The third quarter continued in the same manner as the others with regards to scoring however Los Mikitos managed to claw his way ahead with a two point lead. The final quarter belonged to the Bosnian Centre, Milos Kalajdzic, for Los Mikitos, who tortured the bigs for Durham Wasps, grabbing a monstrous 30 rebounds and amassing 33 points in total to extend their narrow lead and finally take the game 124-110 in what was a fantastic contest throughout.

Congratulations to both sides on making the final and for the game that was served up too, it was a fantastic contest. However, special congratulations to Los Mikitos who was victorious for the first time in a tournament final to grab the prestigious crown.

FINALS MVP
There were a few candidates with three of the Mikitos' players ending with a double-double, however the importance of the 30 rebounds and 33 points makes Milos Kalajdzic stand out. His contribution on either end was fantastic and he also managed to dish out four assists and block three field goals.

Last mention goes out to all contributions on the forums this season, I know I haven't been as efficient with the reports this season, but you've still all made it enjoyable to do and hopefully we can continue to engage more people within the community to get involved. I hope to see you all again next season.

Great report as always. That was pretty much how I saw the game. Agree with the MVP too. He was the big difference. I really needed a few more takeaways but Los Mikitos were too stingy with possession.

+1 to enjoying the report comments.

In other news, former winner and runner up in the cup Wrose Warriors went bot this week :(

Former runner up (cup and EBBL) SuperHands is now confirmed for relegation to div 3 too.

For the record, Superhands won the cup as Spazhands and won the EBBL twice as Superhands behind the three-point bombs and legendary perimeter defensive of one Alan Sharpling, esq.
