I will show you something. To be honest, I already ran a test in season 27 on this matter.
(68686903) - 15 steals, 17 blocks and 50:71 rebs. my opponent scored only 72 pts
(68686908) - 11 steals, 20 blocks and 51:65 rebs. my opp. scored 99 pts
(71934974) - 20 steals, 19 blocks and 52:74 rebs. what a game!
(71934982) - 14 steals, 14 blocks and 56:57 rebs.
I played this games during with strong defenders. It was before I sold Deng. So they already had OD, ID and SB 15+. With Haek and Sutherland I had 3 defenders an the field. Do you see the difference between my FCP and the other ones? I had a lot of blocks. And during this strech, there was always one player who performed really good.
Especially Haek: 15 steals (3.75); 14 blks (3.5) and 55 rebs (13.75) and Sutherland: 20 blks (5.0)
Unfortunately my Stamina was very low (4 and lower) and the defense wasn't finished. I gave up a lot of rebs, but it was compensated through the high SB.
To make it short: you can run FCP, but you need the right guys. They have to have all four defense skills and 2-3 of them should score like there is no tomorrow ;)
About your surprise that you had a lot of TOs: FCP takes away RB and I think ID, but it gives your OD such a boost. With the right GDP it's a monster of a def. But it's hard to play.
