LOL loved the writeup again!

I'm not very fond of what I did either... by renting up players, but its the only way I can get an ABBL championship before Rooney and Wazza gets too old. They need them to win one so I can induct them into the HOF.

Whatever happens, its going to be a close one. I still think I'm the underdog though.

Ropela was a gun, if it wasn't for him, I woulda been nowhere near winning in season 14.

I actually think I was more unlucky in season 9 than 14, for two reasons:
1) the gap between the big 8 and great 8 that season was huge. Huge. Which is why Coolcats was ahead of me by a couple of games and got HCA
2) My best big man went down 6 minutes into the first game of the finals. Meaning that instead of having a 80K PF, I had a 14K PF. Hurt a little.

Season 14 noone expected me to win, and it was probably more by luck (and Ropela's incompetance at the foul line) that I even got close.

And I still hate Royce Raines. (though I probably should hate the guy who fouled Gafa more - without that injury the game probably doesn't get to that position).

And I expect it will be 5th time unlucky, assuming I even make the finals (which is far from certain).

Personally I think both koop and mllama deserve to win something, koop for his brave decision to buy-up despite only being a #4 seed, and mllama because well, he's in his 18th season and has never been relegated from the ABBL. Ultimately however I think mllama deserves it more. I'm looking forward to seeing this finals series...

PS: Costa's career statline with PWJAC reminds me a lot of Ray Allen. Both were consistently strong 3 point shooters that scored a lot of their teams points, the only big difference between the two being Ray is better from the free throw line.
