Almost all Salary Calculators are inaccurate since all the changes to salary over the past couple of seasons.
But link me to the calculator you used and I'll check.

But check your work again, it is impossible for player 4 to have the same salary as player 1 ;)

Typical ignorance. Actually 1400 years ago while the decadent west believed that the sun revolved around the earth which was flat the Quran said:

1) "and it is We who have constructed the heaven with might and verily. It is We who are steadily expanding it" (Qur'an, 51:47). Until the early twentieth century, science had no idea the universe was expanding.

2) "By the sky, full of orbits and paths" (Qur'an, 51:7) Who knew that planets were in orbits around the sun and the moon around the Earth?

3) "He created the heavens and the earth for Truth He ended the night today and ends day into night." (Quran 39:5). A long and complex explination indicated that this means that the earth is round.

4) "Glory be to Him who created all in pairs. From what the earth produces, from themselves and from things unknown to them" (Quran 36:36). Matter and anti-matter.

5) "No, really, if not stop, we will seize him by the forelock, a lying sinful forelock" (Qur'an, 96: 15-16). In the West they thought the liver or the heart controlled emotions whereas it was revelaed here correctly to be the front of the brain.

6) Allah splits the seed and kernel. He brings forth the living from the dead, and produces the dead out of the living. (Qur'an, 6:95) Splitting the atom to create power or bombs.

7) the moon when it is full, you will mount up stage by stage! Qur'an, 84:18-20) Staged spacecraft to the moon.

8) "Their skins will bear witness against them as to what they have been doing" (41:21) Fingerprints.

9) "Corruption has spread on land and sea because of what men’s hands have wrought" (30:42) Environmental pollution by man.

10) "And among His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and of whatever living creatures He has spread forth in both. And He has the power to gather them together whenever He pleases." (42:30) Life on other planets.

There are more predicting, TV, planes, AIDS, the Panama Canal and dozens of historical events, but forget them. Did the west know of any of these 10 scientific facts 1400 years ago.

a random calculator I put found put player 1 at 100K, and player 4 at around 190K, so I'm gonna disregard that one.

I'll compare players 1 and 3.

Their attributes as you put them are a little deceiving. Player 1 can go up to wonderous passing with no impact on wage. In addition, handling and driving have bugger all impact on wages - he can go to the same level as player 3 for about an extra 10K wages. Therefore, the difference between the two is 2 levels of JR + 10K less in salary, versus 6 levels of rebounding.

Personally, I'd probably take the rebounding, but its personal choice

Are we seriously suggesting that McArthur (who has respectable rebounding) is actually only worth 55k instead of the 95k salary he is currently on?

I got $192,130 for player 4.

Unless you meant for rebounding to be atrocious, then he would be $102,721

There's no doubt rebounding has a significant effect on wages. I don't think its 40K, but maybe 20K difference is reasonable.

IS and ID don't effect SG's wages, so maybe the better point here is that perhaps they are the better skills to train if you want a wage efficent guard (personally, I htink rebounding probably has more effect for a guard than IS or ID do, but again, personal preference).

I know it has an effect, but I don't think it's useless. Any more than respectable for a guard is a bit of a waste though.

im using the salary calc from the help forum ,

the salary calcs are only incorrect by the amount salaries have dropped in the past 3 seasons - so in fact the salaries would be cheaper.

and its not impossible for player 4 to have the same.

The salary calc from the help forum is outdated.

Also you said player 1 is:

jump shot - phenomenal jump range - prolific
outside def - marvelous handling - prominent
driving - prominent passing - strong
inside shot - respectable inside def - respectable
rebounding - respectable shot blocking - respectable

And player 4 is:

jump shot - phenomenal jump range - prolific
outside def - marvelous handling - prominent
driving - prominent passing - stupendous
inside shot - legendary inside def - marvelous
rebounding - respectable shot blocking - respectable

As you can see, JS, JR, OD, Handling, Driving, Rebounding and SB are all equal.
Player 4 has 9 extra pops in Passing, 13 pops extra in IS, 8 pops extra in ID.

As I said before, it is impossible for these two to have the same salary.
